Are you been stuck with updating your Firefox Developer Browser/ Firefox Aurora, then you are at the right place.
Hey there, I am Gautham and We will be looking at a way on how to update Firefox Developer Browser.

I've been using Min browser for a while and I faced some bugs after Its recent updates. So I got mad with it and switched to Firefox Developer Browser a.k.a Firefox Aurora. Until now I haven't faced much of an issues. If you want to see how to install it and have a doubt on it, There is a post on it

So getting to the topic, Download the new version of Firefox Aurora. Extract the files on any location. Now open the
/opt
directory in Terminal. For that, You can just open terminal and type
cd /opt
.

Before continuing, Please read this : We cannot remove or change files in
/opt
directory without permissions so we will be using terminal to change files.

As we opened the
/opt
directory in terminal, We will remove the
firefox
folder. Remember to close your Firefox aurora browser.

Now the last command :
sudo cp -rp [your_firefox_developer_updated_files_location.Inside_there_is_firefox_named_file] /opt

This step worked for me and I believe will work for you, If you are facing any problems, Feel free to Ask.

mmm, I am devastated

Hello Lads, I am here today to tell about my life ( I think so ). There have been many things that happened to me.

I was not active because I had school and a lot to study. Also the exams were near. Now, we have 10 days leave ( From 2 September to 12 September ) due to Onam ( A festival celebrated in India. I am free now as nothing to learn and study. So I thought about uploading a YouTube video as i was not active in YouTube also.

There comes the problem; I got cough and fever and my health was so bad, I could not even stand up due to the effects of the medicine. Now I am a little better and then i thought - Why not to make a video now or put up a post in Dev Community?
Then comes the next problem; I don't have any ideas! I am thinking day and night and I am requesting to the community to give me an idea.

My videos don't have my voice over. It is just the video, keyboard clicking sound, and a bubble to say the intro ( as devaslifes videos ).

Now, this is what made me devastated. I can't do nothing and hope is my last chance. I want to keep my channel active, study, being social ( talking with humans ) etc. I don't know if I can say devastated but my brain is.

Now I getting back. On 7th is my Birthday; so before that I need to put up a post in Dev and post a video in YouTube before the vacation ends. That ends my devastating things. If you have any problem in this post, like devastated word is no good etc. please comment.

Signing Up,
Why I am switching to Ubuntu 20.04 from 22.04

Hey there! I am Gautham & It has been a long-time since I posted a video or a 'dev community' post. I've been spending my time at school and watching YouTube videos (actually lazy to take a video & write a post. sOrrY.)I am going to switch to Ubuntu 20.04 nearly and This is the ReAsoN_!_.

I've taken a love to Ubuntu 22.04 as I am a big fan of customising & I like new features of Ubuntu 22.04 but some of the following things has disappointed me. First Pros then Cons.

 PROS

Nice customising widgets and things.

Amazing pre-built screen recording.

As a Linux nerd, It was love at first sight with the distro.

The new Gnome 42 was an amazing experience.

 CONS

The Screen recording was amazing as a pre-built but cannot record for a long time and low screen recording quality.

The System hanged many times as I changed the version of Kernel to 5.18 for a solution but It was also not that good.

The given version of Firefox was not compatible with gnome extensions as It was not connected as it says.

Even though after I managed to install the correct version of Firefox, Only some of the extensions was able to use.

Was not up to my expectation.

There are also a quite more things but these are the most important this that I think I should include. I've just downloaded the files and Rufus now, At the time this post was posted in the internet. I am also thinking of putting a video about this. One more thing to say is that, I am posting it on Thursday, But I am having class, right? I am not well with my health recently so took 2-days leave. Going to school on Friday. Ok, then!

Thank you,
Gautham G Nair.

If you also have any problem with Ubuntu 22.04, Please include it below as I am really interested to know your problems and See if I can solve it for you. Thank you for the patience of reading this post and spending your valuable time reading it.

I've been also facing this issue when I was exiting Neo vim. I tried many steps but It did not work. Alas, I found the solution is that you need to set the guicursor to "disable". The one thing is that, After we set that to "disable", In the Neo Vim we cannot see the beam-cursor. It will always be the default cursor you use. I use
I-Beam
cursor, so in Neo Vim, There will always be
I-Beam
cursor and not block-cursor. If you want it that way, Then use the following command in your
init.vim
file. It works for me.

The code -

set guicursor="disable"

*To all the users who use Ubuntu 22.04 - *
You may be finding a bit of problem with the gnome-extension or your browser seems to be not right. It is slow and not opening fast, right?

This is why it happened. Ubuntu 22.04 has Pre-installed browser - which is Firefox. It is a nice browser but Ubuntu have done a wrong thing!

All the time, Firefox debian package was installed using apt in all the recent versions but in Ubuntu 22.04, it has changed. They used the Snap package. It had made Firefox worse. The snap package made the app open slow and there are problems with gnome-extension.

After hearing this, I immediately Uninstalled the Firefox using the command below 👇 -

sudo snap remove firefox

Then I added the apt-universal package using the command below 👇

sudo add-apt repository ppa:mozillateam/ppa

Now add these line of code in the given file using the given command -
First type the command below in the terminal 👇 -

sudo nano /etc/apt/preferences.d/mozillateamppa

Now you will be in the nano file text editor. After that, Type these lines of code in it. You can also use nvim instead of nano.
Copy these lines and paste it in the file -

Package: firefox*
Pin: release o=LP-PPA-mozillateam
Pin-Priority: 501

Now install the Firefox browser again by using the command below 👇 -

sudo apt install firefox

Now see the magic! It will be open again and Your Gnome-extensions will work fine. Try it yourself. If there is any issues then comment.

Why I love to use Neovim as my default text editor😍🤩🥰 & Why you should use it

 Intro

Hey there, What's up??? Did you heard of NeoVim? If not, then I have a post written about NeoVim. Read it.
This video is about Why I love NeoVim and Why you should use NeoVim.

How I got In-touch with NeoVim

NeoVim was a text editor and You know, I didn't even know about that. One time, I was looking for creating a Todo app to.. Just for fun, I will not even use it in my real life. I am a crazy lazy thing, don't even think about hardworking. - i always download source code.

Then a video of DevAsLife stuck my head. At first, I thought - Yeah, He is using VS Code. Then In the description, I went for source code and There I found he was using NeoVim. I suddenly installed it in my Linux & Windows so I can code like him. - YOU know, Some part of me is still a child.
THIS IS HOW IT STARTED!!

Why I love to use NeoVim as my default text editor?!?

I love NeoVim due to the only one reason before - IT IS THAT IT LOOKED LIKE A HACKING EDITOR. (still it is one of the reason, hehehe). It is a very compatible and easy use text editor. I think everyone should leave VS Code and use NeoVim but some might find It difficult.

Most of the time, I use it because it looks more customizable and more comfortable to me. It was a very tough beginning but, Yeah - It adjusted to me. It is like using 1000% of your brain when you are customizing it. When I first tried to customize, i really thought like - This give my brain a freeze and it sucks. If I ever use it, then I will die due to using 1000% of my brain.

So you know what people do at this moment.. -

 I quitted NeoVim!!!

Yeah, Eventually I just forgot about it and just moved on with VS Code. But there is a twist (There is always a twist), I was watching the channel devaslife, His video made me fall in love with NeoVim again. I tried a hundred thousand methods and..
ONE METHOD WORKED!!!!! WHAT THE FRIDGE!!!

I really was like that. It was a video of NeuralNine. I've already made a post about it. You can read that If you are interested in NeoVim and need to customize it (You will eventually customize it because it has no autosuggestion and it looks bad at first).

THEN MY JOURNEY WITH NEOVIM BEGAN!!!
I always used it. Every time - means everytime. I sometimes write text in it for fun. I created more websites for fun. It was like I was a Neovim-Psychopathic-Mental-Disease-Disorder-NoBrain.

If you were spectating me, then you will have brain**** because I was very fond with it. I watched many videos for customization(Even now) so that It will look more good and I will try to code automatically.

 Why You should use it?

Main reason its flexibility and usability. You can customize as you wish. You can run wherever you want. It is based on VIM a.k.a Vi. It is available in Windows, Mac OS & Linux.
WAIT A Minute - It is known that VS Code is more likely used and an easy interface & there is more followers for
VS Code.

MAN!!!

You should try the NeoVim. You should learn how to customize it. You want to learn a new language to customize. There is a lot of jobs.
..
...
....

Every beginning is difficult, but it gets easier from there on.
_ - Erki Nool_

Like Erki Nool said - It is a hard beginning but when you get used to It, You will not leave it till your dead.

Also Lads, I've got my hands on Ubuntu 22.04. I am going to post a review about it and there will be review video coming on Youtube. I have a very very tiny little small smaller smallest channel - The video will be uploaded there. Channel Name - Mr. Coder GGN.

Stay Tuned for more videos and posts

 Intro

Some of you might have heard of Bhai Lang or some might not. This is a post I wrote with a lot of interest and proud of being Indian and Proud of the future of the Indians.

 Wait, What is Bhai Lang??

Bhai Lang is a language developed by two i dians known as Aniket Singh from Amazon and Rishabh Tripathi from Groww. This Language means another version of JavaScript. It is a fun language.

 How is it made?

Bhai Lang is made in Typescript. It is an idea of them when they were studying and thought about it but that time, It was just fun.

What is this weird word called "bhai"?

It is not a weird word. "Bhai" means brother in Hindi, Which is the native language of India.

 Learn About Bhai Lang

Bhai Lang has an official page of Bhai Lang itself and it has a playground in which you can code without installing it's NPM language.

How do I run it in my device?

You can either run it in your browser or install the NPM package of Bhai Lang by running
npm i -g bhailang
.

My Opinion (which you don't have to care)

I am super exited to see Indians develop a language like this. I am always waiting for the developed future. I like this language for its creative idea but on the other side It should have more commands like for more developed lines. It is just the beginning, there is a lot & I am waiting for it.

Should you Learn JavaScript? My opinion about JavaScript.

Yeah, I've been learning JavaScript recently in Scrimba. Their classes are good. So This is my opinion on JavaScript ( _I don't have power to say this but it is my opinion so... _ )

JavaScript is a very good language. It has given a change to my website and my websites feel more lively. ALERT - The written lines were given in the tutorial so I am just copy pasting, hehehe

I've been using it in a few websites and YOU SHOULD USE IT If you are a web developer

 Times when JavaScript Helps

If you want to add a contact form, login / register form in websites.

If you want to make your program / website more beautiful and Lovely - By Billie Eilish & Khalid

When you build apps or using NEXT JS or VUE JS, It will help you a lot if you learn JavaScript.

 What I hate about JavaScript

It is a little bit confusing.

Sometimes It makes me feel like I am a bad man.

It shows different results in different areas.

Should You use it or not?

In my opinion, JavaScript is a tough language sometimes and easy to learn sometimes. If you are a Web Developer or App Developer, Then you should learn it. That's all I have to say. If you are interested in learning it, Then you could learn it from FreeCodeCamp or Scrimba. I've learned it from both and You should definitely see both.

Signing Off,
I customized my NeoVim with autocompletion an here is how I did it🤩😎 ️😉

Ladies and Gentlemen, Here is how I customized my NeoVim text editor. But before we start some people don't know what NeoVim is.

NeoVim is a terminal text editor which is used to write codes in terminal.

It has some problems. It is not that user-friendly and doesn't have any autocompletion. After a long time, I've finally customized it. Here is how! -

Ingredients -

NeoVim

A PC with OS installed

A stable internet Connection

Node JS

Yarn

Vim-Plug

Curl

Git

First you want to go to
.config/
directory and You will see many folders. In that directory, Find
NVIM
directory in it. If you did not find the folder in
.config/
directory then create a folder with the name
nvim
in small letters. Then In that directory create a file called
init.vim
.

Then go to and Install Vim-Plug as shown in the Post.

Open the
init.vim
in NeoVim and type the code below in the
init.vim
file. For inserting the file in NeoVim, open terminal and type
nvim init.vim
in the
.config
directory.
For those who are new to NeoVim watch the video given below.

LINK - Get Nvim tutorial on how to use

You cannot use any other editor!

Source code to my Nvim config file

Now save the file and quit. Reopen the file and type
PlugInstall
. It will automatically starts to download the plugins. After that again save and quit.

Type Nvim and enjoy!
