Ever saved a useful piece of code and completely forgotten where you put it? 😅

Here are 3 simple tips to make your reusable code easier to find:

Use descriptive names
Instead of "code-final-v2.js", use something meaningful like "JWT Authentication Middleware".

Organize by purpose
Group snippets into categories like Authentication, APIs, UI Components, or Database.

Keep everything searchable
Add descriptions and tags so you can find what you need later.

These are also some of the ideas behind CodShot, the code workspace we're building. 🚀

Curious to hear from other developers: what's your favorite way to organize reusable code?

Where Do You Save Your Reusable Code Snippets?

Ever spent 20 minutes looking for a piece of code you know you've already written? 😅

Between old projects, GitHub repos, random files, and AI chats, useful code can easily get lost.

We've been working on CodShot to help developers organize, find, and reuse their code snippets in one place.

But I'm curious — how do you manage your reusable code?

Do you use GitHub Gists, VS Code, Notion, or something else?

Would love to hear your thoughts! 🚀
