The Coldplay affair filter took over TikTok almost overnight: two people caught on a concert big screen, one hides, one ducks, and the crowd goes wild. Most people tried to recreate it with CapCut templates, green screens and a lot of editing.

I wanted to see how simple the same idea could be as a web tool. The result is Coldplay Affair AI (https://coldplayaffair.com/). You upload one clear photo of each person, or one photo of both, and the AI places them on its own AI-made concert big screen, in their own clothes.

A few things I learned while building it:

One continuous 12-second shot feels more convincing than stitched clips.

A vertical 9:16 720p MP4 with crowd sound is all TikTok, Reels or a group chat needs.

Rendering takes about 3 minutes, so failed renders should return the credit automatically.

Photos should be deleted within 24 hours, and everything shown is AI-generated, with no real concert footage.

It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Coldplay.
