      <title>MAGICPL: A plain Process Explanation Vocabulary regarding Dispersed Pseudonymization Scenarios.</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;There is a growing interest in implementing intersectoral approaches to address social determinants especially within the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) era. However, there is limited research that uses policy analysis approaches to understand the barriers to adoption and implementation of intersectoral approaches. In this paper we apply a policy analysis lens in examining implementation of the first thousand days (FTD) of childhood initiative in the Western Cape province of South Africa. This initiative aims to improve child outcomes through a holistic intersectoral approach, referred to as nurturing care. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The case of the FTD initiative was constructed through a triangulated analysis of document reviews (34), in depth interviews (22) and observations. The analysis drew on Hall's 'ideas, interests and institutions' framework to understand the shift from political agendas to the implementation of the FTD. &lt;/p&gt;

The patient reported hyaluronic acid infiltration on both lips 5 months prior to presentation.  Patient awareness, clinician detection, and management of chronic kidney disease remain suboptimal, despite clinical practice guidelines and diverse education programs. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This protocol describes a study to develop and investigate the impact of the National Kidney Foundation Kidney Score Platform on chronic kidney disease awareness, communication, and management, by leveraging the Behavior Change Wheel, an implementation science framework that helps identify behavioral intervention targets and functions that address barriers to behavior change. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We interviewed 20 patients with chronic kidney disease and 11 clinicians to identify patient and clinician behaviors suitable for intervention and barriers to behavior change (eg, limited awareness of chronic kidney disease clinical practice guidelines within primary care settings, limited data analytics to highlight chronic kidney disease care gaps, asymptomatic nature of chronic kidney disease in conjunction with patient reliance on primary care clinicians to detefferent elements of the Kidney Score Platform using qualitative and quantitative methods. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As of September 2020, usability studies are underway with veterans and clinicians to refine the patient-facing components of the Kidney Score Platform before study initiation. Results and subsequent changes to the Kidney Score Platform will be published at a later date. The study is expected to be completed by December 2021. &lt;/p&gt;

 Hypertension is a major cause of cardiovascular disease, which is the leading cause of premature death. People with hypertension who do not comply with recommended treatment strategies have a higher risk of heart attacks and strokes, leading to hospitalization and consequently greater health care costs. The smartphone, which is now ubiquitous, offers a convenient tool to aid in the treatment of hypertension through the use of apps targeting lifestyle management, and such app-based interventions have shown promising results. To discover the underlying sequence patterns, we have developed a deep learning model, called DeepCTCFLoop, to predict whether a chromatin loop can be formed between a pair of convergent or tandem CTCF motifs using only the DNA sequences of the motifs and their flanking regions. Our results suggest that DeepCTCFLoop can accurately distinguish the CTCF motif pairs forming chromatin loops from the ones not forming loops. It significantly outperforms CTCF-MP, a machine learning model based on word2vec and boosted trees, when using DNA sequences only. Furthermore, we show that DNA motifs binding to several transcription factors, including ZNF384, ZNF263, ASCL1, SP1, and ZEB1, may constitute the complex sequence patterns for CTCF-mediated chromatin loop formation. DeepCTCFLoop has also been applied to disease-associated sequence variants to identify candidates that may disrupt chromatin loop formation. Therefore, our results provide useful information for understanding the mechanism of 3D genome organization and may also help annotate and prioritize the noncoding sequence variants associated with human diseases.People undergoing investigations for suspected cancer have to undergo a number of investigations before they know their full diagnosis and treatment plan. We examined predictors of distress among patients undergoing staging investigations for suspected colorectal or lung cancer. Patients were prospectively recruited to two multi-centre trials comparing WB-MRI with standard scans. Patients completed a questionnaire, administered at trial recruitment, measuring demographic and psychological variables (n = 129, 66 colorectal, 63 lung; median age 66.4, range 31-89). Predictors of distress were analysed using logistic regression. Forty percent of patients reported high distress (a score of 4 or higher on the GHQ-12). Higher deprivation and greater intolerance of uncertainty (IU) predicted high distress in both unadjusted (low deprivation OR 0.352, 95% CIs 0.144 to 0.860, p = 0.022; IU OR 1.972, 95% CIs 1.357 to 2.865, p less then 0.001) and adjusted analyses (low deprivation OR 0.243, 95% CIs 0.083 to 0.714, p = 0.010; IU OR 2.231, 95% CIs 1.429 to 3.485, p less then 0.001). Age, gender, presence of comorbid illness, cancer type, probable knowledge of cancer diagnosis, and a final diagnosis of cancer did not predict high distress. However, data regarding antisocial behavior while playing online are still scarce. In this study, we examined the relationship between toxicity (a form of verbal aggressive behavior directed against other players) in multiplayer online video games and several potential predictors such as personality traits, emotion reactivity, and motivations to play. A large-scale survey (n = 816) was conducted among French-speaking adult gamers, assessing video game habits, impulsivity, empathy, emotion reactivity, and motivations to play (i.e., socialization, achievement, immersion). Results showed that younger age, being male, spending a lot of time playing per week, and being highly achieving increased the likelihood of reporting toxicity and change of behavior in game. High emotional reactivity and being high in two dimensions of impulsivity (negative urgency and sensation seeking) increased the likelihood of toxic behavior. In contrast, individuals who are more empathic tended to report nontoxic behavior and individuals who play to socialize reported little change in behavior in game. Future research should address the complexity of behaviors displayed during online games-notably through experimental studies allowing direct observation of gamers while they play-and the functional connection between toxicity and several psychological, emotional, and motivational dimensions in further detail.       <description>&lt;p&gt;Background The huge development of omics sciences is changing the classical medical approach and making new technologies available. In this context, education of citizens is essential to allow appropriate decisions about their own health. Hence, we aimed to summarize existing literature regarding citizens' knowledge, attitudes, and educational needs on omics sciences. Methods We performed a systematic literature review (SLR) using Pubmed, ISI Web of Science, and Embase databases. The eligibility criteria for inclusion in this review required that the studies investigated knowledge, attitudes, or educational needs regarding omics sciences among the general population. Results We included 54 studies, published between 2006 and 2020. Most of the included studies (72%) investigated citizens' knowledge, half of them (56%) attitudes, and 20% educational needs in the field of omics sciences, while 52% investigated attitudes and perceptions about genetic and/or omics tests. Most studies (64%) reported a limited knowledge level among citizens, even though most (59%) reported participants understood the benefits of the use of omics sciences into medicine. As for omics tests, a controversial opinion toward their use into practice was reported among citizens. Most of the studies (82%) investigating citizens' educational needs highlighted a clear gap to be filled. Conclusions Our SLR summarizes current knowledge on citizens' literacy, attitudes, and educational needs on omics science, underlining the need for strengthening public engagement on this topic. Further research is needed, however, to identify appropriate methods and models to achieve such an improvement. &lt;br&gt;

However, when the fetus has a derivative Y chromosome thereby containing a partial Y chromosome, the Y chromosome-based NIPT method cannot accurately calculate FF. Therefore, alternative methods to precisely calculate FF are required. Methods Two prenatal cases could not be detected effectively using the Y chromosome-based NIPT method because of low FF. According to the Y chromosome-based method, the FF of the fetuses were 1.730 ± 0.050% (average gestation week 18+1) and 2.307 ± 0.191% (average gestation week 20+0) for cases 1 and 2, respectively. Using various genetic diagnostic techniques, including the BoBs™ assay, karyotype analysis, improved nucleolus-organizing region (NOR)-banding analysis, Affymetrix CytoScan 750K Array, and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) analysis, we determined the genetic defects of two fetuses with translocations of the SRY locus. Further, we reassessed the FF using FF-QuantSC and X chromosome-based methods. The distribution diagram of reads for chromosome Y was also analyzed. Results The FF of the fetuses determined by FF-QuantSC were 10.330% (gestation week 18+4) in case 1 and 9.470% (gestation week 21+4) in case 2, while the FF of the fetuses determined using the X chromosome-based method were 8.889% (gestation week 18+4) in case 1 and 2.296% (gestation week 21+4) in case 2. Both the distribution diagrams of reads for chromosome Y of the two cases showed the deletion in the long arm of the Y chromosome. Conclusion For repeatedly low FF samples detected using the Y chromosome-based NIPT method for a long gestational week, we believe that FF-QuantSC and distribution diagrams of reads could be used as a supplement to NIPT, especially for rare cases of sex reversal caused by SRY translocation. &lt;br&gt;

 The purpose of this study was to analyze the quantity and quality of the mandibular anterior alveolar bone in terms of alveolar width, density, and total alveolar height (TAH) based on dental status, gender, and age. Additionally, this study aimed to quantitatively evaluate the available alveolar height for graft harvesting (AHGH) and examine its variability based on the aforementioned factors. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This retrospective cone-beam computed tomographic study included a total of 100 subjects. On the basis of gender, dental status, and age, the scans were divided into 3 primary groups and 8 subgroups. The aim of this retrospective cross-sectional study was to assess the discriminatory ability of stages of cervical vertebral maturation (CVM) in predicting the legal age threshold of 14 years. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Routinely taken lateral cephalograms from 408 subjects aged 10 to 18 years were evaluated retrospectively using the CVM stages described by Baccetti et al. Descriptive statistics, accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive values, and likelihood ratios were calculated for stages 2, 3, and 4 of CVM. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Real age increased as the CVM stage gradually increased. The results of 2×2 contingency tables showed that CVM stage 4 produced an accuracy of 71% and 73%, a false positive rate of 7% and 18%, and a post-test probability of 59% and 68% for boys and girls, respectively. &lt;/p&gt;

For 20 weeks, the test rats received a weekly intravenous injection of 30 µg/kg zoledronic acid, and the control rat was administered a similar dose of normal saline. &lt;p&gt;We analyzed Youth Appalachian Tobacco Study data (n=1116) to estimate prevalence of current (past-30 day) cigarette, e-cigarette, and smokeless tobacco use by gender, race/ethnicity, age, school type, state, smartphone use, and number of household tobacco users. We created a pattern of tobacco use variable (i.e. never, former, single, dual, poly) based on all possible combinations of the included products. Using multivariable multinomial logistic regression (outcome reference never use), we evaluated associations between sociodemographic characteristics and patterns of tobacco use. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Former (16.2%) was the most common tobacco use group, followed by single (10.8%), dual (4.5%), and poly (2.4%) use.
