  I began coding because...
&lt;/h2&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I didn't think I could: my first computing course took place in a room of 200 students with the instructor yelling his lecture into a microphone...very limited assistance for the uninitiated...but then that rush of joy when a seemingly impossible program not only compiled but then RAN (mostly correctly) WITHOUT ERRORS!!!! &lt;/p&gt;

  I'm currently hacking on...
&lt;/h2&gt;

&lt;p&gt;customizing JavaScript tutorials for introducing kids to coding&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;h2&gt;
  
  
  I'm excited about...
&lt;/h2&gt;

&lt;p&gt;working with the next generation of coders...an after school program for 10 - 14 year olds&lt;/p&gt;

  My advice for other women who code is...
&lt;/h2&gt;

&lt;p&gt;always do something orthogonal every day&lt;/p&gt;
