How I Built a Dark Cinematic Restaurant Landing Page Template and Listed It For Sale

I'm 18 years old, based in Lagos, Nigeria, and I just
launched my first digital product — a premium restaurant
landing page template.

Here's how I built it and what I learned.

 The Idea

I wanted to build something that actually looked premium —
not the generic blue and white templates you see everywhere.
Dark background. Gold accents. Cinematic feel.
Something a fine dining restaurant would actually want.

 The Stack

Pure HTML5

CSS3 with custom properties

Vanilla JavaScript

Google Fonts — Playfair Display + Inter

Zero frameworks. Zero dependencies.

 What's Inside The Template

Fixed navbar with scroll effect

Full screen hero with background image and overlay

About section with split layout

Interactive menu with 4 tab categories

Photo gallery with lightbox effect

Reservation form with validation

Testimonials section

Contact section with background image

Fully responsive — mobile, tablet, desktop

 Live Demo

Check it out here: https://luxe123.netlify.app/

 The Result

I used AI-assisted development tools to speed up
the build process significantly. What might take
a week traditionally took me a couple of days.

The template is now live on Gumroad for $39.
This is product 1 of many.

 What's Next

I'm building a catalog of premium website templates
across different niches — hospitality, SaaS, portfolio,
e-commerce. Each one built with the same attention
to design quality.

If you're a developer or designer who wants a
premium base to build from — check it out.

Get it here: https://brulock.gumroad.com/l/luxe-restaurant-template

Building in public from Lagos 🇳🇬
This is just the beginning.
