1MB (9 months later)

9 months ago I posted about my project 1MB on here (https://dev.to/daltonedwards/1mb---free-website-hosting-2noe)

At the time of my initial post 1MB was a very simple application. Your site could only contain 1 HTML file and you were restricted to a 1mb.site subdomain.

Since then I’ve added many new features such as:

Support for multiple files.

Support for hosting multiple sites with 1 account.

Custom Domains & Free SSL

NoSQL databases that can securely be accessed with JavaScript

“Instant Apps”, with the click of a button install a dynamic application on your site

An optional Pro subscription for more storage and enhanced functionality.

I welcome you to check out 1MB at https://1mb.site

1MB - Free Website Hosting

Today I’d like to introduce you all to a project of mine. It’s called 1MB (one megabyte). It’s a platform for creating what I like to call “micro sites”. What is a micro site?

A micro site’s source code cannot exceed 1MB in size.

A micro site is powered by only one HTML file (unless you’re using third party stylesheets and scripts).

You even get your very own subdomain to share your code. Mine is https://dalton.1mb.site :)

There is also an open API for editing your site just in case you wanna use your own code editor or automate something.

You can try out 1MB at https://1MB.SITE
