&lt;p&gt;You already found out about using the terminal in VS Code, but did you know you can split terminals? Use &lt;code&gt;Ctrl + Shift + 5&lt;/code&gt; (or &lt;code&gt;Cmd + Shift + 5&lt;/code&gt; on Mac) to open a split terminal. This is great for running a server in one terminal while executing scripts or running tests in another.&lt;/p&gt;
