I got tired of quantum tools feeling like homework, so I built my own.

So, when I first started learning quantum computing, I kept opening the usual circuit simulators and feeling the same thing every time.

Everything looked dry. Grey boxes. Dense labels. That heavy “now we are doing serious science” atmosphere. IBM Quantum Composer, Quirk, and the rest are powerful, but they made the whole experience feel more intimidating than it needed to be.

I would sit there thinking: quantum is already hard enough. Why does the interface have to make it feel even heavier?

I just wanted a place where I could drop gates, see what happens, and not feel like I was reading a research paper.

That frustration is exactly why I built Cirqmon.

It’s a quantum circuit playground that runs completely in the browser. No backend, no login. You open the site, drag gates onto a canvas, and watch the state update live.

 What you get

Drag-and-drop circuit builder

Interactive 3D Q-sphere (Three.js)

Live probability graph

Export real Qiskit code when you want to take it further

The simulator is written from scratch in JavaScript. Every gate you place updates the state vector right there in the browser. No waiting.

I also added small things that make it feel less like a lab tool — background music, different canvases, the ability to adjust the number of qubits. Just enough to make it feel like a space you can actually hang out in while learning.

 A quick example

Want to make a Bell state?

Set two qubits

Drop H on qubit 0

Drop CX with control on 0 and target on 1

You immediately see the amplitudes sit around 0.707 on |00⟩ and |11⟩, and the Q-sphere lights up.
That feeling “oh, so that’s entanglement” moment hits better when the interface isn’t trying to look academic.

 Why this version exists

I didn’t build Cirqmon to replace the professional tools. I built it because I wanted the first steps of learning quantum to feel a little lighter. Something closer to a creative playground than a textbook.

It came out of that simple feeling of “this doesn’t have to be so dry.”
You can try that Here - Cirqmon Github

If you’re just starting out or simply want a more colorful place to experiment with circuits, give it a shot. And if you have feedback or ideas, I’m around.

Thanks for reading.
