W3Schools is a web developers site, with tutorials and references on web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, Python, jQuery, Java, C++, C#, React, Node.js, XML, W3.CSS, and Bootstrap, covering most aspects of web programming.

The site derives its name from the World Wide Web (W3) but is not affiliated with the W3C.
W3schools has focused on simplicity.

Except for tutorials you have quizzes and certifications (you need to pay for certificat).

2. Learn JavaScript

Here you can find some basics and advanced tutorials for JavaScript. Also, except JS there is some tutorial for other languages as C, C++, C#, Ruby..

Flutter | Android Virtual Device - AVD in 8 steps

Hi

Today we will discuss and I hope to learn how to make Android Virtual Device in Android Studio.

I assume that you have installed Android Studio on your machine/computer.

Step 1: Open Android Studio

Open your Android Studio and create New Flutter Project -> Flutter Application

After that click 'Finish' and wait a few seconds.
Then you will get a project, something like this.
(feel free to call your project as you want, and go to the directory lib->main.dart file)

Step 2: Android Virtual Device Manager

Now, go to drop-menu Tools and chose AVD Manager

Step 3: Create Virtual Device

You will get a pop-up window like this one and there go for "+ Create Virtual Device.." in the left down corner.

Step 4: Choose category and virtual device

Again you will get a new one pop-up window and now is to you to choose device definition

You have category:

TV
Phone
WearOS
Tablet
Automotive

You probably need to choose the Phone category, but that depends on you and your project.

Go for the Phone category and choose one phone that you want.

Step 5: System Images

Now we need to choose System Image for our device.

Android System Images are just versions of Android that you can run on your computer. More about that

Download one of these System Images and click Next

Step 6: Android Virtual Device

Then, finish step you can change the name of your device.
For example: Nexus 5 API 30 - tutorial- but this isn't needed and you can leave just Nexus 5 API 30

Click Finish

Step 7: Launch Android Virtual Device

Now you can launch this AVD in the emulator. Click that. And it will show you a phone, maybe you need to wait for a few seconds but be patient. And if it's your first time to launch this AVD you maybe got some errors, if so please comment below which errors you get.

After you launch this AVD in the emulator, go to drop-menu and choose (mobile) and also choose main.dart

Last step: Run 'main.dart' (Shift+F10)

Run it. It can take a few seconds/minutes. Be patient. After that this main.dart code will be run on your virtual device.

That's it. After a few seconds, it will show you main.dart application on your virtual device. Congratulations.

"Start at the End"

Hi

I am reading the book "Do the Work" by Steven Pressfield and I can't recommend this author enough.

Anyway, I just came across one concept - Start at the End.
Or backward, Begin at the Finish.

So here is the idea: if you writing a movie, or thinking about a startup or open a local restaurant first thing you need to do is to write about the climax or think about which problem your startup will solve.
What recipe your restaurant will have that brings all people in town to you? Don't waste your time deciding which colors will be the best for your walls. Don't get me wrong, colors can be very useful and helpful in a lot of cases but is it really matters if nobody visiting your restaurant which color is your walls?

I hope you get my point here.

Let's say we want to learn Front-end development, and you want to learn React as a framework.

Where/What I want to be/become? Front-end developer and I would love to know ReactJS.
Cool.
Before learning ReactJS I need to learn JavaScript.
Yeah, I got something to keep going.
Before JavaScript, I need to know CSS, and before CSS HTML.

So, here it's in steps

ReactJS (4 step)
JavaScript (3 step)
CSS (2 step)
HTML (1 step)

Of course, there is a much more than these four steps, but now you know in which direction you need to move to accomplish your goal.

Today I will represent you a little bit about Flutter. Also in few next posts, I hope I will cover how Flutter works and how to install Flutter.

First, let’s talk about what is flutter?

Flutter is an open-source, Google’s UI toolkit for building beautiful, natively compiled applications for mobile, web, and desktop from a single codebase.

That means developers need to write code once and apply it to all platforms – Android, iOS, web, macOS, and even Wear OS.

Linux and Windows are still under development

Flutter isn’t the only cross-platform framework, you also can use React Native, Cordova… - they also allow developers to write code only once.

The first version of Flutter was known as “Sky” and ran on the Android OS (operating system). Flutter was created by Google and at the end of February 2018, Google introduced the first Flutter version.
Today, the 9/22/2020 available version is 1.20.4 released 9/15/2020.

Also, Flutter has some disadvantages for example relatively small expertise, dart's low popularity...
