Every student developer eventually faces the same dilemma: you want to build real-world software, but building alone in a silo is tough. At the same time, we constantly run into missing features, repetitive administrative hurdles, or tools that simply don’t exist for our specific student needs.

So, we decided to fix it ourselves.

Introducing Kaju Open Source 🍊 — a community-driven initiative focused on shipping practical software, developer tools, AI systems, and digital products.

Our philosophy is simple: If a tool doesn't exist, we build it.

We are actively developing and shipping our first major platform: ORE.

What it is: An open-source Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platform.
What it does: It allows users to seamlessly search, understand, and interact directly with their own knowledge bases, documents, and notes.
The Tech Stack: Built with [Insert Python/FastAPI/Next.js/etc. here] to ensure it is fast, local-friendly, and highly accessible.
