Hey devs 👋,

After spending weeks manually sending cold emails to HRs, crafting each one, attaching resumes, tracking replies, I realized this process was painfully slow, unscalable, and easy to mess up.

So I built a solution:

ColdReach — a tool that sends personalized cold emails to real HRs and recruiters, with your resume and cover letter, directly from your Gmail account.

❌ The Problem with Manual Cold Emails
Cold emailing is powerful. But doing it manually?

Takes hours per day

You forget who you emailed

Easy to make mistakes

Hard to stay consistent

I built ColdReach because I was tired of juggling Excel sheets, resume PDFs, cover letters, and Gmail tabs.

✅ The Solution — ColdReach
ColdReach makes cold outreach to recruiters easy, professional, and transparent.

Here’s what it does:

✅ Send personalized cold emails to real HRs
✅ Includes your resume + cover letter
✅ Sends emails via your own Gmail account
✅ You see every email in your Sent folder
✅ No spam, no mass blasting — just real outreach

It’s made for real people reaching out to real people.

🧑‍💻 Who It’s For

Final-year students

Intern/job seekers

Bootcamp grads

Anyone tired of cold-emailing manually

🛠️ Tech Stack
Backend: Node.js, Express, MongoDB
Frontend: React + TailwindCSS
Email API: Gmail API via OAuth
Payments: Razorpay
Auth: Google login with Gmail send permission

Built with simplicity, speed, and user control in mind.

🔒 Transparent by Design
Every email is sent through your Gmail, not some random mail server.
So you stay in control, no spam folders, no shady stuff. And yes, it’s all visible in your Sent tab.

✨ Try It Here
🔗 https://coldreach.in

Free plan available — just log in, fill the form, and start reaching out to recruiters.

💬 I'd Love Your Feedback!
Let me know in the comments, and feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn.(https://www.linkedin.com/in/dev-gajjar28/)

Thanks for reading,
Month of December

This is a submission for Frontend Challenge - December Edition, CSS Art: December.

 Inspiration

For this challenge, I wanted to celebrate December through the lens of my home city, Ahmedabad. December in Ahmedabad is a time of cool, pleasant weather and festive events. It’s a month filled with outdoor activities, cultural festivals, and the excitement leading up to the Kite Festival in January. I focused on capturing the essence of Ahmedabad’s winter vibes and its vibrant celebrations through CSS art, incorporating elements like snowflakes and the city’s festive atmosphere.

 Demo

Live Demo : https://devgajjar28.github.io/Dev-community-challenge-1/
Github link : https://github.com/DevGajjar28/Dev-community-challenge-1.git

 Journey

Creating this piece was a fun journey that helped me explore CSS art in a more personal way. I wanted to reflect Ahmedabad’s unique winter charm—its crisp air and festive spirit. The challenge allowed me to dive deeper into CSS animations, especially for creating the snowflakes that fall as you scroll, and adding a dynamic background color that changes with scrolling, mimicking the cooling winter evening as the day goes on.

I’m particularly proud of how I captured the vibe of Ahmedabad’s winter through a simple yet effective design. The challenge also pushed me to get creative with CSS and JavaScript to implement smooth, scroll-triggered animations and background color transitions.

Next, I’m excited to explore more interactive design elements and experiment with libraries like GSAP to enhance animations and create more engaging web experiences.

Thanks for taking a look at my work!

Winter Solstice: A Celebration of Science and Culture 🌌

This is a submission for Frontend Challenge - December Edition, Glam Up My Markup: Winter Solstice(https://dev.to/challenges/frontend-2024-12-04)

 What I Built

For the Frontend Challenge - December Edition: Glam Up My Markup, I designed and implemented an interactive landing page that explores the science and culture surrounding the Winter Solstice. My goal was to create a visually engaging, educational, and accessible experience for users to learn about this fascinating phenomenon while celebrating its cultural significance across the world.

 Demo

Live Demo : https://devgajjar28.github.io/frontend-challenge/
GitHub Repository: https://github.com/DevGajjar28/frontend-challenge.git

 Journey

Design and Aesthetics
I started by thinking about the feel I wanted for the page. The Winter Solstice brings to mind starry nights, snowflakes, and the shift from darkness to light. So, I chose:
A calm color palette with shades of blue, white, and gold to capture the wintry, celestial vibe.
Serif fonts for the headers to give it a cultural feel, and simple sans-serif for easy reading.
Animations to make the background come alive, with twinkling stars and a soft snowfall effect using CSS and JavaScript.

Interactivity and Features
I wanted the page to be engaging, so I added:
An interactive timeline that lets users click on markers to learn about the science and cultural traditions of the Winter Solstice from around the world.
A countdown timer to keep things timely and remind users when the next Winter Solstice is approaching.
A fun facts carousel that rotates through interesting facts about the solstice.
A responsive design to make sure it looks great on any device, whether it’s a phone or desktop.

Technical Highlights
I used:
CSS animations for smooth transitions and hover effects.
JavaScript event listeners to make the timeline, countdown, and carousel interactive.
I also made sure the page is accessible, with proper ARIA roles and alt text for images.
Challenges and Learnings
The biggest challenge was creating the dynamic timeline with JavaScript. It taught me a lot about structuring data and using DOM manipulation. I’m really proud of how the animations and interactive features give depth to the page without overwhelming the user.

Future Plans

I want to add more cultural references and maybe even some multimedia like videos and audio narrations.
I’m also planning to add a dark mode option to make it more immersive.
I’d love to expand the countdown timer to include solstices and equinoxes for both hemispheres.

Conclusion

This challenge was a wonderful opportunity to flex my CSS and JavaScript skills while diving into the captivating history and science of the Winter Solstice. I hope this page inspires others to learn more about this special time of year!

Thank you for checking out my submission. 🌟
