A better way to achieve the career you dreamed of

Hello, devs! Hope you all are doing good. As you read the headline, you heard it right. "You don't need to spend a huge sum of money on a Bootcamp". There are a lot of ways to learn coding at less expense and with more effectiveness. Today I am here to another method which I felt will be more affordable and useful.

boot.dev
This was an amazing website for developers who looking for the best guide to get started in backend development. They follow the most updated and effective method of online teaching. Some of the features provided by them include:

Training in Python, Js, and Golang

6 months completing time (when selecting part-time mode)

Get help in professional projects to help you land your first dream job.

Refund the amount if you change your mind in 30 days.

Learn in a flexible schedule online

All these features for just 1% of the price of a college tuition fee

A house with a strong basement stands for a long time. In addition to this statement, they will provide the training for you to master the Computer science basics so you don't need to worry about understanding the concepts.
Writing code on paper will not make you a developer. But sadly, that is what the colleges are doing. So here, you write real-world code using in-demand backend languages. Portfolios describes you better than anything. You will build projects to show yourself to the employers who are looking for a person to handle their projects.

Back-end developers in the US are earning around $150,000 per year. By seeing this package, you can say that this career is in high-demand. So, to land a successful career in this field, you need very neat and clear preparation. Through constant practice, you can achieve anything.

Gallery

The main thing which I noticed in Boot.dev is that their curriculum is structured perfectly. They prioritized the basics first and the contents slowly become professional level.
Also, they have a discord community to help the learners whenever they need help. One thing I firmly believe is that network is networth. Not only for clearing your doubts, but you can utilize the discord community to build a professional network to explore new things and possibilities.
So, why are you waiting? Check boot.dev now and join the discord community.

Let's start the journey to success with Boot.dev. 😊👍

*Mistakes most newbie developers make.*

Hi all. Today, I am here to talk about a most discussed topic in developer world. Mistakes you should avoid while coding for the first time. I've been coding for around 2 years and I learned a lot of things during these time. Let's take a look into those things in detail.

 1. Trying to learn too much things at once.

This is not a good method to follow. I've seen many people on different social media platforms with this problem. For example, they try to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript at once and they will get stuck. From then onwards, they always believe that coding is hard. Actually, it is not! Most of the people believe that C++ is the most difficult programming language, but I learned C++ by dedicating 7 months of consistent practice.

 2. Not having right amount of fundamental knowledge.

If we are building a house, what is the most important part of that process? Building a good basement. Right? That is also the case of programming. We cannot build bigger programming skills if we don't have a strong base. But this can be time consuming when we switch from one language to another. For example, if you learn programming concepts like loop, variable, array, function, pointer, etc. using C language. Then you don't have to re-learn it in every language. Just take a look into the syntax, and then boom! You're ready to take next in that language. This is a proven method by me😁. Because, I learnt Python, JavaScript, and C++. My first language was Python(like all other newbie devs) and then I moved to C++. The thing is, I learnt all these concept once again from the beginning in both languages. That took a lot of time. But when I moved to JavaScript, I just looked into the syntax and then started coding. That was super easy and less time consuming.

 3. Programming is not about Programming

If you started with a programming language, at least some of you will think that programming is all about wearing a hoodie and sitting in front of a dark themed editor with some small green letters in the editor. Actually, it is a "film myth". In films, we always see this but in real life, things didn't work that way. Programming is a lot more than just writing code. If you are a Frontend Developer, first you need to roughly draw a prototype of your website in a piece of paper. Then you should think different ways to make it. Many senior developers told that 'first thinking and then coding' is way much better than 'first coding then thinking'. You should read many article about programming, you should go through other's code, and so on.

 4. Waiting for the right time to get started

For this topic, the best example is always me 😂. I always waited for the right time to try something new. Later, I realized that there is no such thing as right time. You should make a moment the right time. Don't waste time thinking too much things. Just start and everything is going to be alright. Some people says that they don't have a nice laptop to code, and so many excuses like that. But believe me or not, I started coding in mobile phone. I searched for different ways to learn coding without much expense. You don't have to attend a $10,000 bootcamp if your family cannot afford that much amount of money. There are a ton of resources out there in YouTube and other social media platforms.

Conclusion
From these things, get ready to be a "pro"grammer and make yourself better and better everyday by consistent practice and determination.

Happy Coding!

5 best tips for creating a better website.

Web designing is a field where we need more concentration, creativity and skill. Because, a lot of people will go through the website you make. Most of the users will use a mobile phone to browse through the site, while others use their tablet, laptop or desktop. Here the main thing is, all devices are not of the same size. It expands from 5" to 24" or above. We, web developers should make sure that our website will work perfectly and smoothly on these devices. All the contents of the webpage should align perfectly on any device. Have you ever noticed some websites are terribly arranged and the content is not readable. That is why, we should always keep these 5 tips in mind while coding/ developing a webpage.

1. Design

Use a UI design tool like Figma to actually know what the website will look like. Just by doing this, you'll know what to do even before creating the website.

2. Homepage

The thing on which you should spend more time is the homepage. It's the core of your website and it's what make the clients stay on your website.

3. Keep it Simple

Be straightforward. Especially when it comes to a service, always try to be straightforward and tell what you do in the most concise way.

4. Forms

If users can buy stuff on your website, please don't make it complicated. Don't ask for useless questions if you do not need it. No one wants to buy things with complicated forms.

5. Use pictures

Pictures really can be an excellent way to show your service. Add some visual elements to your website to make the website more 'alive'.

If you can follow these steps, you can make your site more attractive and useful. If you are already following these steps, then keep going.

Happy Coding!

Different types of formatting in HTML.

There are many types of formatting in HTML. They are used in different instances. All of these methods are a must while designing a webpage. Take a look at each one for better understanding...

 Bold Formatting

Bold Formatting

The following word used a bold typeface.

The output of the above code will be this:

The following word used a bold typeface.

 Italic formatting

Italic text example

The following word used an italic typeface.

The output of the following code is like:

The following word used an italic typeface.

 Underlined Formatting

Underlined text

HTML is developed by Tim Breners-Lee.

The output of the above is code is:

HTML is developed by Tim Breners-Lee.

 Marked Text

Marked Text

HTML is developed by Tim Breners-Lee.

How to create a list on HTML.

As you all know, HTML is the base of web development. It decides the structure of a website. Everything starts with HTML, followed by CSS for the designing, and JavaScript for the functioning of the website. Here, take a look at how to create a list in HTML.

Always keep in mind that maintain a standard in coding. Don't mix up all the lines while coding. Reduce the use of too much comment in the code. I have seen that some people will write too much comment in 3 or 4 lines. That is totally unnecessary. If you really want to add a comment, conclude it in 1 or 2 lines.

Save this post, and make sure to check out all the useful contents for web development in this page.
Happy coding!

How to select a device and an Operating System for programming and web development. (A reliable guide)

This guide is based on my personal experience I have faced while choosing a device for my workflow.I am a web developer. At the very beginning of my web development, I used to code on mobile phones. I was comfortable with that setup at the beginning. Gradually, I felt that coding on a mobile phone is very slow. Then I changed my coding from mobile phone to a tablet connected with a keyboard. It really helped me to increase and improve my typing skills and my familiarity with keyboard and the alignment of words in that. I continued coding on that tablet for about 6 months. At that time, I got my first laptop...Before telling anything more, let me explain about the different OS. As you all know, the most popular 3 Operating Systems are :-

MacOS

Windows

Linux

I used Windows in the laptop for the first three months. I found it so messy to use because of the different file partitions and folders. Also, if an update is going on, it will take a lion's share of my time. So I started searching for a fast, secure, reliable and easy to use Operating System. I learnt about the different distributions of the Linux system and their usages. So I planned to install the most beautiful looking distribution of Linux:- Zorin OS 16 Core edition. After installing that, my laptop started performing much better than Windows. The benefits of using the Linux OS is, it doesn't needs an antivirus. It is way more secure than the Windows. Second thing is it needs less reboots for updating. It just feels like restarting your computer. Third thing is, you can choose the distribution as you like. According to Wikipedia, there are over 100 distributions of Linux. So, you can choose the one fits perfect for you. My recommendations of choosing different Linux distros for different category of people are these:

~For beginners

Ubuntu

Zorin OS

MX Linux

Elementary OS

Linux Mint

Pop!_OS

~Linux distros for servers

Ubuntu Server

Red Hat Enterprise Linux

SUSE Linux enterprise Server

CentOS 8

~For intermediate users who have a little experience using Linux

Fedora

Manjaro

Debian

CentOS

~ For advanced users

Arch Linux

Gentoo

Slackware

~Linux distros for old computers

Puppy Linux

Bodhi Linux

Solus Bridge

antiX

Sparky Linux

~Top 10 distros for programmers

Ubuntu

openSUSE

Fedora

Pop!_OS

elementary OS

Manjaro

Arch Linux

Debian

Raspbian

Nitrux

~Best Linux distros for ethical hacking

Kali Linux

BackBox

ParrotSecurity OS

BlackArch

Bugtraq

DEFT Linux

Samurai Web Testing Framework

Pentoo Linux

CAINE

Network Security Toolkit

Fedora Security Spin

ArchStrike

I've given the best choices amongst all of the Linux distros. Now let's take a look into the Laptop/Computer section.
Buying a device is a little bit confusing procedure. You may be in confusion about a lot of products in the market. Some brands offers best durable laptop while others offers the best looking laptops. So choosing a laptop of pc should me more careful. If you are a Web Developer, basically, you only needs a laptop with the capability running the text editor you use and the ability to open the browser. Clearly saying, you need a minimum of Intel core i3 of AMD Ryzen 3, 4GB of RAM, and storage type of SSD will handle all of your work perfectly. If you are a Mobile Developer, the scenario will change here. The IDE you use for developing mobile apps (Android Studio) is a monster. It is a heavy IDE of about 3gb file size or above, and it comes with all of the necessary tools for the app development. Here, you need a 'minimum' of Intel core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5.(Try to pick the latest generation of these processors. Because it will be better than the previous generations. And a minimum 8GB RAM, and SSD is not preferrable, it is a must. Because if you choose a laptop with HDD type storage, the work will not be completed after one eternity. All other category such as Backend Developers, DevOps Engineers, Artificial Intelligence Engineers, needs a laptop with Intel core i5/ Ryzen 5 or above, a decent amount of RAM and a storage type of your choice. Here, an important thing is to remember: An expensive laptop will not make you a good developer or programmer. It requires continuous practice and dedication. Try to code daily, learn new things everyday and keep your knowledge updated always. Because, IT field is changing always. If you fails to keep you updated, it will seriously affect your career in IT.

Make a wise choice that will help you and start coding right now. Happy Coding!
