&lt;p&gt;Your backend has two background tasks that update shared resources: &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Another handles caching to speed up responses.

&lt;p&gt;Seems like a solid architecture, right? But in a high-concurrency scenario, these threads end up waiting on each other, creating an inescapable deadlock.&lt;/p&gt;
