I recently built NotchNote, a context-aware memo app for macOS. 📝

The idea started from a simple problem: when I’m coding, browsing docs, or switching between projects, quick notes often lose the context that made them useful in the first place.

NotchNote stays near the Mac notch/top edge and opens as a lightweight overlay. It recognizes your current working context, such as the active app, browser host, project, or session, and connects your memo to that context. 💻

So instead of creating isolated notes, you can come back to the same note when you return to the same work environment.

The goal is not to replace a full note-taking system. It is to make small, in-the-moment thoughts easier to capture and easier to find again. ⚡

I’m sharing the landing page as part of a university assignment where we need to promote a service and collect feedback through the page.

If you use macOS, work across multiple apps, or often lose small notes while switching contexts, I’d really appreciate it if you could try the landing page and leave a short piece of feedback. 🙏
