About My Portfolio

This is my personal portfolio designed to showcase my skills, projects, and growth as a frontend developer. Beyond just being a website, this project represents my commitment to leveling up my technical skills and building production-ready applications.

As part of the New Year, New You Portfolio Challenge, I deployed this application using Google Cloud Run, allowing me to learn modern serverless deployment practices while creating something meaningful for my career.

Why I Built This
I wanted to start the new year by rebuilding my portfolio from scratch with a stronger focus on performance, scalability, and real-world deployment practices.

This project helped me:

Learn how to containerize and deploy applications using Google Cloud Run

Understand the benefits of serverless infrastructure, including automatic scaling and simplified deployment

Improve my frontend architecture using reusable React components and TypeScript for better maintainability

Set up a clean GitHub workflow for version control and future CI/CD improvements

Using Google Cloud Run was a key learning experience, as it allowed me to deploy my application without managing servers while still maintaining full control over the build and runtime environment.

What’s Next

In the future, I plan to:

Integrate AI-powered features using Google AI APIs

Improve performance and accessibility

Add more interactive project case studies and analytics
