Goopensource.dev empowers job seekers with source code insights from Github, reviews from LinkedIn, and insight from other social networks, so you can make your next career move with total confidence and deep insight.

Our platform allows members (employers, freelancers and recruiter) to scan company profiles and connect with those companies. Members can quickly search for companies to apply for new jobs. Goopensource.dev can also be used to find new team mates.

Our platform also allows users to anonymously search and view content of each company, no sign up required but it will improve your search experience.

The biggest problem of job search is every company spreading across the internet job postings over many different channels. This increases the complexity of finding a suitable job and the amount of time to spend while searching. We're building a search engine to minimize the overhead of searching to the optimum furthermore we increase the quality and amount of job offerings with smart recommendations and ranking.

I’m the founder of Goopensource.dev to make tech job searching awesome again. The app is a tech job search engine to simplifying searching for jobs and indexing of company job offerings across the world.

This app is in a very early stage and it's possible over time to generalize this MVP for every possible industry on the global market without any constraints to certain industries.

Right now, we only focus on all Tech industries like Robotics, Graphics, FinTechs, and co to offer our geeks the best possible solution over time and to learn while we are focusing only on the tech industries.

A developer or other IT person is capable to search for tech, languages, tech topics, countries, and cities on our platform to find the next awesome tech job.

I bootstrapped this tech search engine 3 months ago. We have around 400-700 unique tech visitors every month, an average session duration of 4 mins, a very low bounce rate, and almost every new user is actively interacting with the app. I didn't invest any money in the advertisement so far.

Our current business model focuses on boosting ranks on our app, highly specialized advertisement, and recommendations of employees (AI Recruiters). Expect of boosting ranks all other business models are working in progress because we need more data to offer a well-suited advertisement and smart recruiters solution to customers.

We’re using a new ranking and filtering process to improve the user journey of every customer and we're working very hard to bring the localization of every company to the next level.

We’re happy to announce that our new company search engine (alpha version) is officially available for business, recruiters, and developers.

The launch of our new search engine brings better search capabilities of tech jobs and companies in many different industry sectors. It’s collecting across the world’s new companies to offer our users the best possible experience while searching for new jobs and companies.

We’re using AI in the background to enrich the user journey and to improve localization of companies in various countries and we’re using a pretty modern tech stack to make the search itself very fast. Our tech stack is a composition of Kubernetes, Golang, Vuejs, MongoDB, Postgresql, Python, Tensorflow, Docker and GRPC.

Are you actively looking for an awesome opensource project which is maintained by a company like Microsoft, Google, Apple, Facebook, and co and is at the beginning of an engineering phase or just looking for newly published open-source projects by companies to keep up to date with new frameworks, tools, etc?

I'm a software engineer and I had a few months ago a very important problem... I wanted to start watching at the engineering processes of big companies like Facebook while an early stage-phase of an opensource project to learn new things about software engineering but unfortunately, I couldn't find anywhere a platform which is providing me feed for such projects. This was the reason why I created "www.goopensource.dev" to solve this problem and I was totally surprised and amazed by how frequently all kinds of companies publishing new things like this orm every week.

My app has reached alpha status.

I'm would be very glad if you could provide some feedback about this project.
