We’ve all been there…

You open Netflix (or any streaming app), scroll for 20 minutes… and still don’t know what to watch.

So I decided to build a simple solution.

💡 The idea

I wanted something that:

gives quick movie suggestions
doesn’t overwhelm you with endless lists
actually helps you decide faster

That’s how this came about 👇
👉 https://dotsapps.com/tools/movie-recommender/

⚙️ What it does

The tool is straightforward:

🎥 Suggests movies based on your preferences
⚡ Fast and distraction-free
🧠 Focused on helping you decide, not just browse

No login, no clutter—just recommendations.

🛠️ Why I built it

Most platforms are great at showing everything, but not great at helping you choose.

I wanted to build something lightweight that solves one problem well:
👉 “What should I watch right now?”

🚀 What I’m looking for

I’d love feedback from the community:

Is it actually useful?
What would make it better?
Any features you’d like to see?
🙌 Try it out

Here’s the tool:

If you’ve ever spent more time choosing a movie than watching one… this is for you 😄
