After reading Erika Heidi's article, I was thinking about changing the term that I currently identify with (developer / technopreneur) into (artist / engineer) or Artineer for short.

If someone does engineering, could they be consider as an artist?

Keeping in mind that Art is :

The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.

If someone does art, could they be consider as an engineer?

Keeping in mind that Engineering is :

The branch of science and technology concerned with the design, building, and use of engines, machines, and structures.

This is just a thought of mine, and maybe there's a word for this that I didn't know about. Though I would be curious about what the community here think about the terms that they feel comfortable to identify as.

UPDATE : Someone bought http://artineer.net/ so I'm definitely not the one who coined this term therefore I've changed the title of this post
