Sunday : Pretty productive day doing my study session at https://untilit.works Made a quick change to my website. Paid my bills for the month. I started the subscription for the drawing app. Also did my laundry. Not a bad day at all. I even kept my Japanese learning streak going. Didn't really get a chance to work on this project. I did get to watch the new "Chainsaw Man" movie before going to sleep.
Professional : My meeting for this project was set a little earlier than normal so that more folks could attend. I was able to get my stuff done, but going to see if I can get some extra stuff included. I used AI to help me research some information to put together a report. I looked through a bunch of documentation. Had a meeting with my manager to discuss some upcoming stuff.
Personal : My main focus this week is to get this artwork completed. As a bonus I want to get these 3D models prototyped. Pretty much it.

Going to eat dinner and get to work on this project. I am going to kick it into a higher gear to get this project done. haha That's it. Going to get to work.

Day 1361 : Switch It

Professional : It was a holiday for some folks so it was really quiet and I just worked on this project for the whole day.
Personal : Last night, I did my Japanese studies, worked on the radio show, did some sketching and watched the latest episode of "The Boys". That show is wild!

Since it's Bandcamp Friday, I bought the projects today so I'll go through them and add some to the radio show playlist and finalize that and get the social media posts together. Going to do some Japanese studying. I found another drawing application that I installed before and forgot about. I like it more than the one I've been using so I'll switch it over. There's a subscription to get all the features so since I'll be using it for these projects, I'll use my business account. I also realized that I had purchased some drawing e-books the last time I wanted to get back into art. I'll go through them while I do some sketching. I really need to get something done this weekend so that will be a focus. My friend let me know that the new "Chainsaw Man" movie is up on Crunchy Roll, so I'll end the night watching that. Day 1360 : Back to Work

Professional : My day started with like 4 back to back meetings. haha. After that, it was back to work to get this project closer to completion.
Personal : Last night, I got all the social media posts done for the projects I'll be picking up this week on Bandcamp. Got a couple of Japanese lessons in. I think that was pretty much it. I was pretty tired and went to bed because I knew I was going to have a lot of meetings today.

Going to work on the playlist for this week's radio show and start with the social media posts. I want to keep my Japanese learning streak going. I also need to work on some sketches and models for this project. Going to eat dinner and get started.

Day 1359 : Another Country

Professional : Today was like yesterday, but I got a bunch of stuff done. Pretty good day.
Personal : Last night, I picked the Bandcamp projects that I will buy this week. Going to wait until Friday because artists will get more money per sale. Also did some research into the items for this project. I also watched the latest "Daredevil: Born Again" episode.

Going to work on more sketches for this upcoming project and the 3D models for the items that will come with it. I really want to get everything done this week so I can start producing next week. Also, I want to get a Japanese lesson in as well. Can't hurt to know the language of another country.

Day 1358 : On Top

Professional : No clue where the day went. Had a couple of back to back meetings and went to keep working on this project. Next thing I know, I look up and the day is over. I really need to stay on top of time. haha
Personal : Last night, the 3D model I printed came out pretty good. I accidentally made the hole too large and didn't select the right cutout. I modified the model and worked on some other items and did some sketches. I also decided to pick up learning Japanese... again. haha

Like I mentioned, I started back learning Japanese. I think what sparked my return was I got charged for another year in Memrise. haha This time, I've got AI on my side. Previously, I purchased a lifetime pass to WaniKani and I learned they have an API. My plan is to have Google Gemini do some deep research to come up with a plan knowing that I have both Memrise, WaniKani and find any other good resources (audio books, e-books, etc) to help me actually learn enough Japanese to be able to be conversational and get around on my next trip. I'm thinking I may even have AI create a Progressive Web App that can be a companion application to aide in my learning using AI. Maybe something like creating images to help me remember words or if I take a picture, it can give me the words in Japanese and maybe some phrases. Going to see what AI can come up with. Other than that, I'm going to continue working on the models for these project items. Going to see if Nano Banana can help me clean up some of these sketches I drew. Looking to go through Bandcamp and check out projects to pick up. All that after I eat dinner. Oh and new episode of "Daredevil: Born Again" drops tonight.

Day 1357 : The Light

Saturday : Headed out early to the station so I could stop by the post office. Did a little work on my website before heading into the station to do the radio show. Had a really good time as usual. The recording of this week's show is at https://kNOwBETTERHIPHOP.com

Sunday : Did my study session and got the normal things done, but after that, I was super tired and kind of zoned out and a bunch of time just flew by! I ended the night catching up on the "The Boys".
Professional : Today was a chill and productive way to start the week even though I had like 4 meetings today. I showed my manager in our meeting what I've been working on to make sure I'm going in the right direction. Spent the day working on the documents for this project.
Personal : So, I've been working on a bunch of different aspects for this project. I've been drawing up some sketches of characters because I can't wait for the artist to do it. I've also been working on the models for this project's limited edition package.

Got a model printing right now. It's a holder for the light for one of the items. Going to test the fit and continue with making iterations. I'm going to be working on a switch. Never created one before, so this will be a learning lesson. If can get this to work, I'll be using it in other upcoming projects. Also going to work on some sketches. I'm out. Going to eat dinner and start work.

Day 1356 : Clarity

Professional : Had a meeting with the head folks for the project I'm working on. We showed what we have so far, gave our progress and I got to ask some questions. Went well. Rest of the day I worked on the project when my WiFi would allow it.
Personal : Last night, I went through tracks and put together the playlist for the radio show. I even planned out the polls for future shows. Put in a little work into the 3D models for this upcoming project. Not a bad night.

Going to finish getting the social media posts ready for the radio show. I've got a model printing for the project to test it out. Hopefully I got it right this time. Almost there. Got a few more items I want to get ready for the package. I've also been working on the new version of my company's website. A friend of mine hit me up about a possible collab project. I think I'll finally set up the new 3D printer that has been sitting in a box. haha Going to eat dinner and get to work.

Day 1355 : Blinders

Professional : As for every Thursday before, started the day with 2 meetings except one was for this special project. It ended early enough to be able to catch the last couple of minutes of my regular meeting with my team. About an hour later, we had the wider team meeting. I got to talk about what I've been working on this week since I was using AI. After the meeting, I basically double checked the code snippets that AI gathered for me for a document I'm working on for the rest of the day. Looked at so much code! haha.
Personal : Last night, I bought the projects on Bandcamp and started putting together tracks for the radio show. I also did some work on the items for this project that I'm trying to launch soon. Got tired and went to sleep. haha

I printed a model I modified yesterday to test it out. Didn't really work how I wanted. Going to try again. The items that I made for the order have been delivered. Now it's time to put on the blinders and focus on the next project. Tonight, I'll put together the tracklist for the radio show this week and start the social media posts. After that, I'm going to create the switch model so I can test it out tomorrow. Going to eat dinner and get started. Maybe I'll watch an episode of "The Boys".

Day 1354 : Light Switch

Professional : Only had a couple of meetings today so I spent most of the day working on this special project. I've been using an internal AI chat that has access to all the documents within the company. I wrote up an outline for a document for this special project and entered it into the AI to fill it out and add anything I may have missed. It did a bunch of research through documents that I didn't know existed and from what I saw did a pretty good job. I also started working on a cheat sheet with some of the code snippets that I compiled yesterday to help developers through a process.
Personal : I got the Bandcamp social media posts set up last night and went through some tracks for the radio show. I also did some research into some financial stuff. After that, I was pretty tired and went to bed and watched the new episode of Daredevil.

I'm helping some folks with the release of their 12" record so I got some tasks I'm going to do. Going to purchase the Bandcamp projects and start putting together the tracks for this week's radio show. I sketched out how I want this switch to work on my current project so I want to create a model so I can print a prototype tomorrow. It will act like a light switch. I'll probably also modify the models for the prototype I already created and print them tomorrow as well. I'm also thinking the switch idea I have could work for another item that I've been working on. Going to get started.

Day 1353 : One Shot

Professional : Pretty good day today. Basically spent the day using AI to help search a bunch of documentation looking for different code snippets that I was looking for to create a report. Got a bunch of it done. I just need to go through the snippets to make sure everything looks good.
Personal : Last night, I pick the projects I want to buy on Bandcamp this week. I also created some models for the project that I've got coming up. Pretty productive.

I printed the models I made last night. They came out really close to what I wanted. Almost got it in one shot. Going to make some modifications and print them again tomorrow. I think I figured out how I want to add a switch to a model. Going to work on that tonight. Looking to have all the social media posts for the Bandcamp pickup done tonight. Looking to see if AI can apply my drawing style to a new design. I still have not watched "The Boys" or "Invincible" and the new episode of "Daredevil" releases tonight. First going to eat dinner and then get to work.

Day 1352 : Sunrise

Saturday : Did a little work in the shed before heading out to the station. Made a stop at the post office to drop off a package and then checked my P.O. Box. I got a CD from an artist that we've been playing on the radio show for a while and even interviewed them. The thing is that I already bought the digital version of the album the day before. haha So I gave the CD to my co-host. Had a really good time doing the show as usual. Sunday : Pretty productive day. The client replied back with which box they wanted. I used the UV laser to mark the boxes and packed the items and then put everything in boxes ready to be shipped. Got the regular tasks done as well.
Professional : Today marks the first day that I'll be working a special project for the company. Started the morning with a regular meeting with my team. After that, I had the kickoff meeting for the special project to set some goals and outcomes. Then I had yet another meeting with my manager. I showed them some stuff I worked on last week and got their feedback. Spent the rest of the day, working on the special project.
Personal : Been working on the new version of my website... slowly haha But it's getting there. I want to have it up and ready when these projects I've been working on, start to be released.

Got the order shipped out earlier today. Not time to move on to the next projects. One is a prototype that will hopefully turn into a real product. Another is the 7" project that I've been working on. I may have to push back the release depending on how much I can get done this week. The plan is to get up at sunrise to do some work before the job. Going to eat dinner and get to work.

Day 1351 : Boys

Professional : Had a meeting to start the day about the project that I'll be focusing on for the next few weeks. I got some ideas for things I can make for it. Had an all employee meeting right after. Cool to see what the company is up to. For the rest of the day, I worked on getting some tickets in a good stopping place so I can run them by my manager for the final okay.
Personal : Last night, I did the last bit of finishing work on the orders. Now I'm just waiting to hear back about which box they want the items in. For the rest of the night, I worked on the projects I picked up on Bandcamp and put together the social media posts.

Since my UV printer is working, I'm revisiting an old prototype that I was testing for folks. My machine broke and I wasn't able to complete it then and this new order came in so I wanted to finish that first. I ran the prototype order with one of the old test bases I created and it didn't come out that great. I changed the model and printed another test base, but the 3D print wasn't really smooth, but I'm running it through the UV printer anyway to see what happens. I flipped the base over so that the top is now on the bottom and it should come out a lot smoother. Takes like 45 minutes so I'm going to work on the radio show. I haven't had a chance to watch any of the new season of "The Boys" so I'm going to try and make that happen before going to bed.
