&lt;p&gt;The best choice is your first name and last name. Use a website like &lt;a href="https://namechk.com/"&gt;https://namechk.com/&lt;/a&gt; to check if your username is available. If your name is already taken, add a qualifier that won't change, e.g. &lt;code&gt;janedoedeveloper&lt;/code&gt;. You might not want to use your location in case you move. Try not to use numbers, e.g. &lt;code&gt;janedoe90&lt;/code&gt;. Apparently, it's out of fashion. &lt;/p&gt;
