> Paste a Pinterest link, get your video. That's the whole idea.

💡 The Idea

I save a lot of things on Pinterest: tutorials, design inspiration, and short clips. One day I wanted to keep a video offline and found out that Pinterest has no download button for videos.

So I searched for a downloader, and most of what I found was frustrating:

❌ Forced signups and logins
❌ Pop-up ads covering the input box
❌ Apps or browser extensions to install
❌ Many clicks just to get one file

I thought: this should be one input box and one button. So I built it.

✨ What It Does

Pinterest Video Downloader Tool lets you download a Pinterest video just by pasting its link.

Feature	Status
Signup / login required	❌ No
Stores your videos or links	❌ No
Works on mobile and desktop	✅ Yes
Install an app or extension	❌ Not needed
Free to use	✅ Yes

🚀 How to Use It

1. Copy the link
Open the Pinterest video, tap Share, then Copy link.

2. Paste it
Go to the tool and paste the link into the input box.

3. Download
Click the download button and save the video to your device.

⏱️ It takes only a few seconds.

⚙️ How It Works

When you submit a link, this happens behind the scenes:

The frontend sends the pin URL to the backend.
The backend validates that it's a Pinterest URL.
It reads the public pin page and finds the video file that Pinterest itself serves.
It returns the video link, and your browser downloads the file.

🔒 Nothing is saved on the server. The request is processed, the result is returned, and that's it.

🛡️ Why "No Storage"?

Storing user links or videos adds privacy risks, server costs, and legal headaches. By not storing anything, the tool stays fast, lightweight, and private.

🧠 What I Learned

A minimal UI makes a tool feel much faster to use.
Pinterest has different URL formats (short links, regional domains), so validation matters.
Getting a new site indexed by Google takes time and patience.

⚠️ Responsible Use

Please download only videos you have the right to save, and give credit to creators if you share their work. This tool is meant for personal, offline use.
