We love traveling.

But after planning enough trips, we kept running into the same problem:

Planning the trip itself was becoming a project.

Google.
Maps.
Reddit.
Travel blogs.
TikTok.
YouTube.
Notes.
Twenty browser tabs.

You find a great restaurant in one place, an attraction somewhere else, save five recommendations in Google Maps and then eventually try to turn all of that into something resembling an itinerary.

And that’s before figuring out whether those places are even remotely close to each other.

So we built Escapo.

The idea was to take as much of that process as possible and compress it into a few minutes.

You start with a short questionnaire about your destination, dates and how you like to travel.

Escapo then creates a personalized day-by-day itinerary using real named places.

But we didn’t want to build something that simply spits out ten attractions and calls it an itinerary.

The locations are organized into daily plans with smart timing and geographically optimized routes, so places that make sense together are grouped together.

The result is something that feels much closer to an actual trip plan than a generic recommendation list.

You also get an interactive map where you can visualize your itinerary and see how the different locations fit together.

And when you’re done, you can export the itinerary as a PDF, export the locations as map pins and keep your entire trip organized in one place.

The core idea behind Escapo is pretty simple:

Travel planning should take minutes, not an entire evening.

We built it around how we personally like to travel and the things we wished existed when planning our own trips.
