I’m Evan from the Nexscope team. A product video does not have to begin with a studio shoot. Many ecommerce teams already have the starting material: listing photos, a product URL, a short script, or an approved ad concept. The useful question is which input fits the video you want to make.

For a side-by-side comparison, official examples, and preparation tips, explore the Nexscope video workflow directory.

  1. Start with product photos

If your product page has clear images but no footage, Image to Video turns those images into short product scenes. Choose a template or describe the scene and motion, select the format, and review the estimated credit cost before generating.

Keep the brief specific: what should move, what detail matters, and what must stay visually accurate? Compare the output with the real product before publishing.

  2. Start with a product link

When the listing already contains the details, URL to Video can import a title, description, selling points, and available images from an individual Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, Etsy, or eBay product page. Review the imported material, choose an angle, edit the script, and set the format.

Check that specifications, offers, and any spoken claims still match the live listing. Imported content is a starting point, not a substitute for that check.

  3. Add a presenter when the message needs explanation

Some products need a person to introduce the benefit or explain a routine. Nexscope’s AI UGC video workflow combines product assets with an AI presenter. Start with one buyer question and write a short answer. Captions help when the viewer watches without sound.

Use this for a product explanation, not as a fabricated customer testimonial. Check every spoken claim and visual detail.

  4. Adapt a reference you have permission to use

If your team has an approved ad structure, Video Clone can use a reference to guide scenes, pacing, and style while generating a new video for your product. Bring a reference you have rights to use, add clear product photos, and specify what to keep or change. Inspect the output rather than expecting an exact copy.

  5. Scale a tested format across a catalog

Once one product and brief work for your team, Bulk Video can create separate tasks from product images or folders, or an Amazon product link. Each project currently supports up to 100 videos. Review the total credit estimate and test a small sample before running a whole catalog.

  A review gate before publishing

Does the item look like the real product, including color, size, and included accessories?

Are all spoken and written claims supported by the listing?

Are discounts, delivery, and availability details current?

Does the aspect ratio fit the intended placement?

Do you have rights to the images and any reference creative?

Pick one product, one buyer question, and one placement. Then choose the workflow that fits the material you already trust. Which part of making product videos takes the most time for your team?

Designing an Ecommerce Data Integration: REST APIs, MCP, and the Checks Between Them

I’m Evan from the Nexscope team. The integration checks below apply regardless of provider.

A marketplace data integration often begins with an endpoint list. The harder work is deciding which operation answers a specific question, keeping the result traceable, and knowing when a request failed. Here is a small workflow I use to avoid building a pipeline around an unverified response.

  1. Define the question before choosing an endpoint

For example: “Which products appear for this keyword on Amazon US?” is a search task. “What are the current details for this ASIN?” is a product-detail task. They need different inputs and return different fields. Pick one marketplace, one operation, and a short list of required fields before writing the integration.

Nexscope’s data API directory is one concrete catalog to inspect. It lists operations across Amazon, TikTok Shop, 1688, Ozon, Temu, Walmart, Etsy, Shopify, Shopee, eBay, Mercado Libre, and other categories. Coverage and credit costs vary by operation, so check the individual reference rather than assuming a shared schema.

  2. Make one server-side request

The Nexscope API quickstart provides this illustrative Amazon Search request:

curl -X POST 'https://api.nexscope.ai/amazon/search' \
  -H 'Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY' \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{
    "amazonDomain": "amazon.com",
    "keyword": "wireless earbuds",
    "page": 1
  }'

Store the API key on your server, outside browser code and public repositories. Start with a single request so you can inspect the actual response before designing storage or automation.

  3. Validate more than the HTTP status

A successful HTTP response does not necessarily mean the business task succeeded. The quickstart says to check both HTTP status and the response’s business status. Confirm the expected product or keyword, required fields, and credit cost. For asynchronous media tasks, a task acceptance is not the final result.

Keep provenance beside each value. A useful internal record includes the marketplace, operation, retrieval time, raw response, normalized fields, and a list of missing fields. Preserve unknown values as unknown; do not silently turn them into zero.

  4. Choose REST or MCP for the workflow

Use REST when your application owns a repeatable process: a scheduled job, dashboard, or backend service. Use MCP when a compatible AI client should discover tools and select an operation during an interactive task. Nexscope’s MCP guide documents its remote Streamable HTTP endpoint and authentication options.

An AI client can request a tool call, but it does not make the resulting market evidence self-validating. Check the selected tool, its inputs, credit cost, and output before relying on it. If an exploratory task becomes repeatable, move the stable steps into an API-backed application flow.

  A practical integration checklist

One marketplace and one clearly stated question

Required inputs and fields from the exact operation reference

API key stored server-side

HTTP and business-status checks

Raw response retained for debugging

Missing fields represented explicitly

Credit cost and retries accounted for

Which marketplace field has been hardest for your team to bring into a dependable workflow?
