Hello Techies,

My name is Fahad Ashiq working as a SDE - I at @Calrom I am co-leading Microsoft Community Lahore along with training, mentoring students for last two years in different technical domains of technology, I am also Microsoft Certified Trainer and known as Community Dev Advocate.

As tech community contributor, I am also avid of learning new technologies including Cloud, AI and Data Science I am actively participating in learning different online courses and platform to learn, excel & grow in respective work domain knowledge.

In the above context of learning and leading things in our communities, I have cleared Azure-900 and Azure-204 certification last year and a lot of community folks asked to provide them content related to preparation and guidance to clear these exams.

You can get access all the content related to azure certification on their learning platform which I am pasting below:

I am also pasting links to get access content of AZ-900 & AZ-204

AZ-900:

AZ-204:

The minimum 70% percentile needed to clear the exam out 1000 marks but if you can score above this is your intelligence and interest of learning. All the Fundamental and Associate Level exams are MCQS based but there is some practice exercises you can attempt while preparing them in associate level not in fundamental level.

You can prepare some other content as well related to these certifications which can help you in understanding topics more on technical side to get dive into the practical implementation of things use in the cloud world.

Happy Learning!

4.GitHub Campus Expert form GitHub 🎉

GitHub Campus Experts is a GitHub Education initiative focused on providing leadership and community skills to student leaders on their campuses. A GCE (GitHub Campus Expert) is a student with the ability to improve the technical skills of its community.
📌Note: A GitHub Campus Expert is not a Git or GitHub expert or GitHub ambassador, that’s a common misconception.
Responsibilities
Our responsibility as GitHub Campus Experts is to build a strong technical community on our campuses. This can be achieved by running events, hackathons, meetings, workshops, study groups, or any other events where the students can improve their technical skills.
Benefits
GitHub is always providing tools and content that can help us build a better community and become better leaders, that’s why we constantly have webinars and trainings to improve our technical and soft skills, led by people from the industry but also by Campus Experts (yes, we also share the knowledge amongst us). Another important part of the GCE journey is the events, where GitHub supports us with swag and budget, the devas are always motivated with cool swag and delicious food 😅.
How to become a GCE
Now, I want to tell you a bit about my process of becoming a GCE ✨

Requirements:

To become a GCE you need to fulfill three requirements:
To be studying at the university.
To be passionate about community building and technology (I’ll tell you later about my campus community).
To be at least 1 year away from your graduation.
Application

The first step is the online application. If you have the 3 requirements, you can fill the online application on GitHub’s Education website. in this stage, you will be asked about some basic info related to your community and your motivation to be a GCE.
You can apply to this link: https://githubcampus.expert/

5.MLH fellowship🔮

At Major League Hacking (MLH) we know the power of hands-on learning first-hand. Every year, more than 135,000 aspiring technologists around the world participate in MLH events where they learn the skills that help them land jobs, launch startups, and everything in between. You can’t learn these necessary skills in most classrooms, which is why so many people take their education into their own hands and join our community every year.
The MLH Fellowship is a collection of programs designed to make learning these skills easy, fun, and fast. By pairing educational and fun content with practice experience, you can learn a lot in a very short period of time. Whether you’re looking to build out your initial portfolio of personal projects, polish up a project you’re passionate about, or start contributing to Open Source, we have a program for you.

🚀 My Last 5 Year Struggle, Side Hustle and Community Contribution Since October 2016 to August 2021!

I started, by taking participation as a GRAPHIC DESGNER, in IEEE GCU BRANCH LAHORE right after my Bachelor's degree started. 👾

My First Internship was in UI/UX back 2018.

⏱️ At that time, I got the Internship in CureMD for three months but at that time I don't have an IDEA that CUREMD is one of the Great environment for someone work in. I rather JOIN a Game Studio which were closed right after my internship.

💡 I learned a lesson never go what seems right and good. Take RISK and give yourself a second chance. Than I Joined a Local Startup called HERSTELLAR as content strategist, which is KIND of internship where I get a chance to work in startup culture and to get to know what is happening in startup world.

First time, then I represented Government College University (GCU), Lahore at International Level and Selected as a CAMPUS AMBASSADOR Hultprize from GCU, LAHORE 🎌

After spending first & second year of my University after developing my communication & networking skills I have secured first Internship as WEB Engineer at VU Solutions Pvt. Ltd 😃

After brushing my Dev skills in 6 Months I got my first paid Internship as Web Engineer during my 6 semester of my degree. 💪

In all of this, I have worked along with @hultprize @herstellar @IEEEGCU @dotlinks @techtology1 @DSCGCULAHORE @plan9incubator as a volunteer & representative.⭐

Few Organizations, I feel proud and much grateful to be the part of are @TheNestiO @airschoolonline @StacksPakistan @MLSALahore @dotnetfdn @TedxGCULahore @Plan9incubator @arfakarimfndn & one and only Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador Community. 🔥

These organizations made me who I am today. Co- Leading a community of 3000+ students, professionals and tech enthusiastic. Also Leading my own communities where I market, scale and build the local talent of PAKISTAN 🎖️

Also our communities partnered with @COLABSPK @deveningsGlobal @StacksPakistan & @devsinc, in this whole process of redefining the meaning of community work we have done in last few years!

The whole journey of 5 years is worth to experience for. I am super excited of what lies ahead - The most Important part is the Supportive Community we got for this! 🎉

I graduated in Oct 2020, Now I am working as Software Engineer @Enghouse Interactive in their R&D Department.

It is about telling your story, and how it reflects your conduct, behavior, spoken and unspoken words, and attitudes.
