Most calculators just give you the answer.
You punch in the numbers, hit equals, and get a result. Done. But if you're a student trying to actually learn — that answer is almost useless without knowing how you got there.
That's the problem I kept seeing with Spanish-speaking students specifically. There are tons of calculators online. Almost none of them explain the process in Spanish. And almost none of them show the steps.
So I built Calculadora Alicia.
What It Does
Calculadora Alicia is a free online math calculator that walks you through the complete solution — step by step — for every calculation you run.
It covers:

Basic arithmetic — addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
Scientific calculations — powers, square roots, percentages
Algebra — linear and quadratic equations
Fractions — operations with mixed numbers and different denominators
Matrices — addition, subtraction, multiplication, determinants, and inverses

Every single mode shows you how the answer was reached, not just the answer itself.
Why Spanish?
Because most step-by-step math tools are built in English, for English speakers. Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world and students who learn in Spanish deserve tools built for them — not translated afterthoughts.
Calculadora Alicia was built from the ground up in Spanish. The interface, the explanations, the step breakdowns — all of it.
No Friction

No registration
No installation
No paywall
Works on any device — mobile, tablet, desktop

Just open it and start calculating.
Who It's For
Students from primary school through university. Teachers who want to show worked solutions. Anyone who wants to understand the math, not just copy an answer.
Try It
