&lt;li&gt;Strip comments (string-aware, not naive regex)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Convert single → double quotes&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Quote unquoted keys&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Remove trailing commas&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Replace invalid values (&lt;code&gt;undefined&lt;/code&gt;, &lt;code&gt;NaN&lt;/code&gt;)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Fix bracket mismatches (stack-based)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Quote unquoted values&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Attempt &lt;code&gt;JSON.parse()&lt;/code&gt;
