Open source language models (LLMs) have the potential to catch up to models like GPT-4V and Google's Gemini, but it requires a collaborative effort from the open source community. Here are a few ways open source LLMs can catch up:

Why Large Language Models Hallucinate and How to Reduce it?

In summary, AI is still extremely early when it comes to reasoning and we may need a another significant breakthrough before LLMs can really measure up to humans.👈

Microservices are a type of service-oriented architecture that is used to develop multifunctional and complex applications. Instead of creating a complete software unit, developers can add small services to create software.👌
Llama-2-70b is almost as strong at factuality as gpt-4, and considerably better than gpt-3.5-turbo.

We used to compare Llama 2 7b, 13b and 70b (chat-hf fine-tuned) vs OpenAI gpt-3.5-turbo and gpt-4. We used a 3-way verified hand-labeled set of 373 news report statements and presented one correct and one incorrect summary of each. Each LLM had to decide which statement was the factually correct summary.😭
Web-Check !!!

_Comprehensive, on-demand open source intelligence for any website._

— Get an insight into the inner-workings of a given website: uncover potential attack vectors, analyse server architecture, view security configurations, and learn what technologies a site is using.

— Currently the dashboard will show: IP info, SSL chain, DNS records, cookies, headers, domain info, search crawl rules, page map, server location, redirect ledger, open ports, traceroute, DNS security extensions, site performance, trackers, associated hostnames, carbon footprint. Stay tuned, as I’ll add more soon!

Often when you’re looking into a website, there’s several things you always initially check. Think: Whois, SSL chain, DNS records, tech stack, security protocols, crawl rules, sitemap, redirects, basic performance, open ports, server info, etc. None of this is hard to find with a series of basic curl commands, or a combination of online tools. But it’s just so much easier to have everything presented clearly and visible in one place :)
Thanks in advance
