The biggest change in this update is AI ad-skipping. FluidCast now uses Apple Intelligence to detect and skip ads and sponsorship segments. No more scrubbing through ads. You also get transcripts with tappable timestamps, a redesigned player and general UI improvements.

Why I built FluidCast

I began working on FluidCast after Plex Podcasts and Google Podcasts were discontinued. It felt like the podcast app space was shrinking. Great native apps locked to one platform, or cross-platform options that didn’t really feel native anywhere.

FluidCast is my attempt to do both: a polished, native Apple app, while still supporting most other platforms.
