Rant 101

So javaScript just got a whole lot confusing.

Everything was all smooth and easy-going until I got up to functions. Writing a function is easy enough but writing a function within a function within a function then executing something known as a callback function... then there's the IIFE (which I kinda get). Then there's also arrow functions which kinda knocked me off my chair a bit. I know it gets harder than this but jeez-louise my head hurts. I'm going to start watching a whole lot of YouTube videos on this particular subject because so far this is this most confusing yet its the one thing I really want to get my head around.

So if anyone has any recommendations, I would love to see it.

PS: Sorry about the rant

This is my first time ever writing a blog so I'll just keep this one simple.
My name is Tiri, I live in Australia. I know absolutely nothing when it comes to coding, though I have always been interested in the Tech World. My whole life I've been working jobs that involve hard labour and I love it. I've been working the mines for 10+ years as Labourer, Operator, Boilermaker, Iron Ore Drillers Offsider etc. Through all this I've taken interest in coding but have never really done anything about it until now. I've joined a course with Academy Xi taking me through the basics of coding...
including:

HTML

CSS

JS
There is more after this but I haven't gotten that far yet.

So far there have been many challenges, being a father of 2 little munchkins, at the start I found it difficult sometimes to find time to do my studies, to even concentrate, and also to find the motivation to continue. In the end I thought no it'd be a bloody waste of money, and plus the more I learnt the more excited and curious I got. So at this point I've learnt how to animate certain HTML codes through CSS (If that makes any sense), as basic as it sounds to some of you out there, something like this actually got me keen to learn more.

Well I've written more than what I thought I could and honestly I don't really know if any of it makes sense. But yay to me for writing my first Blog. Hopefully the next could be a little bit more educational rather me ranting on about nothing.

see ya guys
Ka ki te
