Every day I track a 0-100 FOMO score for nine major coins on the FOMO Index. Here's how the week of 19-26 October looked. (Disclosure: I built the FOMO Index.)

 The big picture

The market-wide FOMO Index sits at 48, down from 53 a week ago. That's still in the Neutral band, but it's drifting lower. The one burst of excitement came on 23 October, when the daily average jumped to 56 before fading again.

 Bitcoin: 49 (down from 54)

BTC slipped about 2.2% to $80,128. FOMO swung between 41 and 62 over the week but ended up in the middle. On the weekly chart, price is still above its 50-week moving average (about $75,810). Daily price is below both the 20-day and 50-day averages, and daily RSI is 42. The analysis has $79,800 as the first support and $81,889 as the first resistance.

 Ethereum: 42 (down from 53)

ETH had the biggest FOMO drop of the week, 11 points. Price fell 3.3% to $2,328.83, almost right on its 50-week average of $2,316. Daily RSI is down at 34. The level to watch is support at $2,318. A clean break below it would put the weekly uptrend in question.

 Solana: 45 (down from 47)

SOL fell 3.5% to $101.42 and is still under a falling trend line from recent highs. Support has held at $97.69, and RSI is 36. Sentiment barely moved, which suggests people are waiting rather than panicking.

 The outliers

Zcash rose from 34 to 46, the biggest jump on the board, and price climbed 5.1% to $1,211.28.

Dogecoin is the coldest coin at 32 (Low FOMO), with RSI at 34 and price at $0.077, still 89% below its all-time high.

XRP is the only big coin besides ZEC whose FOMO rose, from 44 to 47, even though price dipped 0.7% to $1.2951. It's still below its 50-week average, which makes it the only major here in a weekly downtrend.

Monero has the highest reading on the site at 60.

 What I'm watching

For ETH, whether $2,318 holds. For BTC, the $79,800 to $81,900 range. For ZEC, whether the jump in sentiment keeps going or fades the way the 23 October spike did.

Scores update throughout the day at cryptofomoindex.com. None of this is financial advice.
