I built a terminal workspace for developers who are tired of rebuilding their environment

My development workflow used to be spread across terminal windows, SSH clients, Git tools, and AI coding CLIs.

The frustrating part wasn't any individual tool.

It was the context switching.

A project might have several terminal sessions, a remote server, a specific working directory, Git state, and an AI coding session. Close everything and you're back to reconstructing that environment.

So I started building ZynxTerminal.

 What is ZynxTerminal?

ZynxTerminal is a native Windows terminal workspace that keeps your development environment together.

It currently includes:

Persistent and recoverable workspaces

Multiple terminal sessions and panes

SSH & SFTP

Git & GitHub workflows

Structured command output

Claude Code integration

OpenAI Codex integration

Gemini CLI integration

Aider integration

Keyboard-first navigation

Command palette

Multiple built-in themes

 The idea

I don't want Zynx to replace the tools developers already use.

I want it to provide a better workspace around those tools.

Open a project and have your sessions, directories, connections, and workflow ready to continue.

That's the experience I'm trying to build:

Open the project → recover the context → keep shipping.

 Why Windows first?

Zynx is currently focused on Windows 10/11 x64.

I'm starting there so I can concentrate on making the workspace experience solid before expanding to other platforms.

 It's still early

ZynxTerminal is currently in Early Access and free to use.

I'm especially interested in feedback from developers who spend most of their day in terminals.

What does your current terminal setup look like?

What part of your workflow would you most want to persist?

And what would make you consider switching to a dedicated terminal workspace?

Try it here:

https://usezynx.com

I'd love to hear what you think.
