Sometimes the hardest part of drawing is not the drawing itself. It is deciding what to draw.

I built Drawing Prompts Generator as a small tool for those moments when you want to create something but are staring at a blank page.

The idea is simple: combine a subject, a setting, a mood, and a visual style to create a new drawing prompt. For example:

A tiny observatory above a sleepy forest, full of little details, in a soft gouache style.

If you like one part of the prompt, you can lock it and generate another variation. You can also copy the result and use it for sketchbook practice, a timed drawing session, a daily art challenge, or an AI image tool.

Why I made it

I wanted the tool to feel calm and lightweight. There are already many powerful creative tools, but sometimes I do not need a large system or a complicated workflow. I just need a small nudge to get started.

The website does not require an account. You can open it, generate an idea, and start drawing.

How the prompts work

The current generator combines four simple elements:

Subject
Setting
Mood
Visual style

The prompt is then formatted as a plain drawing idea. There are also formats for Midjourney, DALL·E, and Flux.

It is not meant to replace imagination or decide what you should create. The prompt is only a starting point. You can follow it, change it, or ignore it as soon as you have your own idea.
