Most AI chat windows will summarize a log and stop. Termini is a Windows workspace. I typed one sentence — SSH a Linux host in the default group, collect nginx or journal errors from the last 24 hours, write a one-page Excel on the Desktop, and email it — and it did all four on the real machine.

Site: terminiapp.com
Microsoft Store: Termini

One sentence, then it went to work

It listed the default group, picked the only SSH host with a native systemd nginx, and pulled three sources for the last 24 hours: nginx error.log (plus the rotated file), nginx access.log, and journalctl at err.

This run finished in about two and a half minutes. Four todos: pick the host, collect the logs, write the workbook, send the mail.

The file is a real Excel on the Desktop

It did not paste a Markdown table for me to copy. It built a one-sheet workbook with openpyxl, print area set to one page: overview, nginx breakdown, every error.log line, HTTP status counts, top error paths, the 5xx rows, journald, and an assessment.

File on this run:
Error_Report_<host>_2026-09-12.xlsx
on the Desktop. 10,661 HTTP requests in the window. 17 nginx [crit] lines — all TLS handshake rejects, scanner noise, nothing reached the app. Two journald err lines from one SSH kex. Four HTTP 500s: those are the only application faults worth opening the Java log for.

Then it mailed the same story

I did not type an address. It read the notification email from Settings and sent HTML that matches the sheet: headline numbers, handshake table, 5xx detail, journald, HTTP status, and one follow-up.

 Why this is the product

It operates on the inventory you already have. Default group, SSH, the host that actually runs nginx. Not a paste box.

Remote facts become a file you can forward. The workbook lands where you asked. The mail is a real send, not a draft in the chat.

It separates noise from work. Handshake [crit] and a lone SSH kex stay in the table. The follow-up is the four 500s.

The same assistant wrote a Word and PDF resume on the Desktop in an earlier post. This job was a server. Same window.

 Try it

Site: https://terminiapp.com

Store: Termini on Microsoft Store

Most AI chat windows stop at a Markdown dump you then paste into Word. Termini is a Windows workspace. I typed one sentence — create a professional resume in Word and PDF on the desktop — and it wrote both files, matching, on the real Desktop.

Site: terminiapp.com
Microsoft Store: Termini

One sentence, then a real form

It did not invent my career. It asked four questions in English, the same language as the request: how to fill the content, which industry, which layout, which language.

I picked a polished sample to edit later, Software / Engineering, modern single-column ATS-friendly, English. That is the point of the product: missing facts become a form, not a wall of chat.

It builds the file, not a draft you copy

It found the Desktop path, checked that Python and Microsoft Word were on the machine, then ran a script:
python-docx
for the
.docx
, Word itself to export the PDF so the two files match. No text boxes, no tables, no columns — parsers can read the experience in order.

Result on this run:
Jordan_Rivera_Resume.docx
(38 KB) and
Jordan_Rivera_Resume.pdf
(255 KB) on the Desktop. One Letter page, Calibri, accent
#1F4E79
on the name and section rules. The name is a sample. Open Word, replace name, phone, email, companies, school. The layout stays.

 What you actually get

The Word file is a real
.docx
you can edit:

The PDF is the same page, exported from Word, not a second layout:

 Why this is the product

It operates on the desktop. Sessions, files and the assistant share one machine. Word and PDF land where you asked, not in a download bubble you then move.

It asks before it invents. Content, industry, style and language were a form. I did not have to write a prompt essay.

It picks the real tool. Markdown-to-docx would have dropped the accent color. It used a script and Word because the job needed layout control and a matching PDF.

SSH, SFTP, Telnet and RDP live in the same window when the job is a server. This job was a resume. Same assistant. Same inventory of what is actually installed on the host.

 Try it

Site: https://terminiapp.com

Store: Termini on Microsoft Store

AI fleet inspection: SSH, Telnet, SNMP and RDP in one Termini session

Most "AI terminals" help you write a command. Termini is a Windows workspace where SSH, SFTP, Telnet, RDP and the assistant share one host inventory. I typed one sentence — inspect the default group — and three minutes later I had a fleet report I could hand over.

Site: terminiapp.com
Microsoft Store: Termini

 One sentence, eleven devices

The group mixed live Linux servers, a Windows RDP lab, a Cisco Telnet box, and an SNMP test target. Termini already knew the protocol for each host. I did not open PuTTY, WinSCP, a Telnet client, or a separate SNMP console.

The assistant planned the run the way an operator would:

Read the group and pick a path per device

Run SSH health checks on Linux — uptime, memory, disk, listeners, containers

Execute a saved skill on one production host: process and ports, HTTP endpoints, mail path, login, TTS

Use Telnet on the Cisco lab

Probe the SNMP test device

From the Windows desktop, test RDP ports with
Test-NetConnection

 What that looks like

The first pass is not a chat reply. It is the assistant using the real SSH client, then PowerShell, against the host you already keep in inventory:

Then it writes a table, not a wall of logs. SSH, RDP, Telnet, SNMP — reachable, refused, or no response:

And it closes with a report: what is healthy, what is a real risk, and what was just a lab box that was not running:

Result on this run: 5 hosts healthy, 6 unreachable. Every unreachable item was a local simulator or VM that was off. The live SSH hosts got a real ops report — nginx, MySQL, Redis, containers — plus two risks worth fixing (a database listening on
0.0.0.0
, a Linux release past standard support).

 Why this is the product

One inventory. Sessions, SFTP transfers, port forwards and the assistant use the same hosts and credentials. You are not copying an IP from a spreadsheet into four tools.

The assistant operates. It runs on the real machine, step by step. This inspection stayed read-only. Destructive work still pauses for approval.

Skills are repeatable ops. A business check — process, HTTP, mail, auth, media — is a skill you attach to a host, not a prompt you paste again next week.

One window. SSH, SFTP, Telnet, RDP and local shells are tabs you can split and merge. The report lives in the same thread as the work.

If you still bounce between a terminal, a file manager, a Telnet client and a dashboard for one job, this is the one-stop ops workspace I wanted on Windows.

Most of us still bounce between a terminal, a file manager, a remote desktop client, and a monitoring dashboard. Termini is a Windows desktop workspace that puts those pieces in one place — and adds an assistant that can actually operate the host you are looking at.

Site: https://terminiapp.com
Microsoft Store: Termini

 What it is

Termini is an AI-native terminal built for operations. SSH, Telnet, SFTP, RDP and local shells open as tabs in the same window. Hosts, groups, credentials and keys live in one inventory that sessions, transfers and the assistant all share.

You describe a goal in plain language. The assistant carries it out on the real machine, step by step. Sensitive changes pause for approval before they run. Each turn ends with a readable summary you can hand over or audit later.

 What stays on your machine

Hosts, credentials and session history stay on the desktop. The assistant only sees what a task needs. Destructive operations ask first.

What you can do in one workspace

Talk to a host instead of copying commands between windows

Keep SSH, SFTP, RDP and local shells as tabs you can drag, merge and split

Transfer files in a dual-pane view without leaving the session

Get command suggestions from the current session context before you press Enter

Run scheduled checks, raise alerts, and keep a diagnosis you can trace

Manage port forwarding and jump-host tunnels next to the hosts they belong to

If you run servers from Windows and are tired of stitching five tools together for one job, try it from the site or the Store and tell me what breaks.
