Janus is a simple, native linux text editor meant to be leafpad's successor (same shortcuts). It is written in 100% C, trading features for a minimal impact on cpu and memory. Janus is best for opening small text or binary files through its fallback binary editor. It also has syntax highlighting, printing, and gvfs connectivity. Janus 0.9.8 brings arm builds, dutch translations, and smaller binaries. You can check it out at Github or download it on flathub or the aur. Let me know your thoughts, issues, etc.
