Advent of Open source:
We updated the README.md file with information on the project. The type of information we included was the name of the project, a description and instructions on how to get the project up and running. There is also a link to the license.

#100devs:
Almost done with lecture 3 and finishing up the homework assigned from the first video.

31 Days of Code

Welcome to 31 Days of Code.

Its my version of #100daysofcode but a little less strict since its holiday season. This is my starting point to test those 100 days waters, mainly with scheduling and organization.

Mission: Complete a full month of code.

How?: I will complete this task by participating in Advent of Open Source. I will also complete video lectures and homework assignment by following #100devs cohort 2 videos.

By planning and organizing my calendar, I will be able to create my own learning path and focus on my goal.

Why?: I am doing this to help myself focus by playing a follow along adventure game to learn open source. This will also help me finish some of the #100devs videos.

To accomplish this goal I will:

Dedicate a minimum of 1 hour of code a day

Reach out to the appropriate communities when I need help

Document my journey and my code

I started yesterday December 1st, 2024. I didn't think to make a post since its just me. But I hope this will at least help me keep track.

Day 1
For the first day I logged into my Github account and created a new file.
We setup the file with an easy name to remember, set it to public and added a readme file. No gitignore or license yet since we will go over that later.

Day 2
Today we learned where to go to find information on licenses and how to add them to the main branch.

End of day 2, so far so good. I've spent about 2 hours on code today and 2 yesterday. Lets keep up the pace tomorrow!
