Your Story, Your Choices: An AI-Powered Adventure with Node Story

This is a submission for the Google AI Studio Multimodal Challenge

 What I Built

I created Node Story, an AI-powered storytelling platform that transforms users into the main character of their own adventure.
Instead of passively reading a story, players decide what happens next. Every choice branches into a new path, and the AI dynamically generates the consequences, shaping how the journey unfolds and even how it all ends.
The idea was to make storytelling interactive, personal, and creative, so no two adventures are ever the same. Each user writes their own legend simply by making selections along the way.

 Demo

Live app: : Node Story – AI Story Adventure

How I Used Google AI Studio

I used Google AI Studio with the Gemini 2.5 Flash model as the creative engine for Node Story. It generates narrative passages that stay consistent with the user’s previous choices. It adapts tone and pacing depending on the direction the player takes. It allows for quick prototyping, so I could focus on polishing the branching structure and UI.
Google AI Studio made it easy to blend AI’s storytelling ability with an interactive format where users feel in control of the narrative.

 Multimodal Features

Node Story leverages multimodal prompting by combining:

User-provided input (their choices at each decision point)

Contextual narrative prompts (to keep the story world coherent)
This means the AI isn’t just telling a story to the user—it’s telling a story with the user. The experience is unique because the ending is never predetermined; it emerges naturally from the path the user carves through their choices.
Future updates could expand this with visuals—like AI-generated scene art or character portraits—making the experience even more immersive.
I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Do you find this kind of interactive, AI-powered storytelling helpful or inspiring?

How do you imagine using something like this; fun adventures, learning tools, creative writing practice?

What features would you like to see next (images, character art, new genres)?
Feel free to drop your feedback or questions in the comments. I’ll be happy to chat and improve Node Story further!

This is a submission for Frontend Challenge - June Celebrations, Perfect Landing: June Celebrations

 What I Built

For this challenge, I built a landing page to celebrate Father’s Day — a tribute to every dad out there who's made an impact in our lives.
The page combines an engaging timeline of Father’s Day history, a curated gift guide based on different dad types, and a memory-sharing gallery where users can honor their dads with photos and stories. I wanted to make it warm, interactive, and meaningful.

 Demo

Live Site: https://junefathersday.netlify.app/
Source Code:https://github.com/tbot53/Father-s-day/blob/main/public/index.html

 Journey

This project was both fun and challenging and I learned a lot from it!
I deepened my JavaScript skills by handling form submissions, gallery updates, and adding interactive elements. I got more comfortable using Tailwind CSS, especially in building a responsive, aesthetic layout faster and more efficiently.
I worked with Netlify for hosting and learned more about things like deploying forms, using Netlify Forms with file uploads, and optimizing meta tags for search engines.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the memory submission gallery, which allowed real user input and gave the site a personal touch.
This was a solo project and part of a journey where I’m gradually leveling up as a frontend developer. I'm now diving into React and excited to bring even more interactivity and component-based structure to future projects. I'm still early in my journey as a frontend developer and constantly learning. I truly welcome any constructive feedback or suggestions. If you know of any beginner-friendly projects I can contribute to or learn from, I'd love to be involved!
Thanks for checking it out, happy coding, and happy Father’s Day!
