The catch? I have very little experience with the Microsoft ecosystem. The good news is that this is an entry-level position, so the hiring team wasn't harsh about my lack of C# knowledge—they explicitly stated that proficiency in any object-oriented language was enough to get me through the door.</p> <p>Still, I really want to ace this opportunity, so I’m determined to get up to speed as fast as possible. I know I won't become a senior architect in two weeks, but I want to learn enough to feel comfortable in the work environment and not have the team hold my hand through every single task.</p> <p>Since it's not guaranteed I'll get the role, I want to invest my time wisely. For those of you who have walked this path (or hire Java devs into .NET roles), what does the fast-track learning curve look like?</p> <h2> What I'm asking the Community: </h2> <ul> <li>Resources: Are there specific "Java to C#" cheat sheets you recommend?</li> <li>Pitfalls: What is the #1 mistake Java developers make when writing C# that screams "I'm a Java dev!"?</li> </ul> <p>I’m ready to grind and learn.
