I’m currently a pre-final year Computer Science student (graduating in 2027) with a strong focus on Python development. So far, I’ve worked with Python, OOP, Flask(basic), basic frontend technologies(Veryyy basic), and SQL. I’m aiming to build a solid career as a Python developer, possibly moving toward back-end development or full-stack development or data-focused roles in the future.

As a fresher preparing for 2027 placements, I want to understand what technologies, tools, and concepts I should prioritize in 2026 to stay industry-relevant. Should I focus more on backend architecture, DevOps, system design, cloud, AI integration, or something else?

I would really appreciate guidance from experienced developers on:

Core skills that are must-have for Python developers in 2026
Trending technologies worth investing time in
Skills that actually matter during placements and interviews
Mistakes to avoid as a fresher

Looking forward to your insights and suggestions.
