My name is Goodnews Samuel. I am an enthusiastic web application developer. I am super excited for this special opportunity that has been given to me by Zuriteam in partnership with Nestcoin to learn about Web3 and Blockchain.

In this article, I will be talking about the major difference between Web2 and Web3.

Web 2 websites basically emphasizes user-generated content, the ease of use, participatory culture, and end-user interoperability while Web3 (also known as Web 3.0) is a concept for a new iteration of the World Wide Web based on blockchain technology, incorporating concepts such as decentralization and token-based economics.

The primary and most significant difference between Web2 and Web3 is that Web3 eliminates the need for centralized intermediaries and introduces information universality unlike in Web2.

My Goals for HNGi8 Internship Program

My name is Goodnews Samuel and I am a backend developer(Python). I am super super excited to be a part of this year’s HNG internship program.

For a Computer Science student and a tech enthusiast in Nigeria who do not get as much opportunity as required to practice what I am being taught in school, I was super glad when I saw the Zuri Training Program @ https://training.zuri.team opportunity.

At the Zuri training program, I started to learn a new programming language, worked on a number of tasks, got to experience some awesome minds(our mentors) and I also made amazing friends.
The experience at the Zuri training program stirred in me more passion for tech.

And it was with this passion now, I jumped on this opportunity given to me and the other 10,000+ interns for this internship program organized by HNG; a program not entirely targeted at beginners but open to everyone to task their minds and test their ability to work under pressure.

I have outlined my goals and what I want to achieve by the end of the 8weeks of this internship.

To improve on my software development skills and master it well as I get the opportunity to work on tasks.
To improve on my tech problem solving ability.
To have an awesome team work ability, cause I understand this internship give us opportunities later to work in groups/teams to deliver on tasks
To connect with as many awesome software developers as my mind can contain
To understand more what really happens in the tech industry and what is expected of me as a backend developer. Conclusion: It’s been awesome already. I’m working on my first task now and I can sense the ride is going to be a beautiful one and I look forward to posting myself wearing the most celebrated HNG tshirt and writing an article of how I came to HNGi8 internship and conquered.
