Have you ever had an idea, assignment, or small bug to fix while you were away from your laptop?

You have your phone.

You have the code.

But you don't really have a proper coding environment.

That was the problem I wanted to solve.

So I started building RunCoder — a coding workspace for Android.

You can write, edit, organize, and run code directly from your phone.

It currently supports:

C
C++
Java
Python
HTML
CSS
JavaScript

There are also starter templates, multi-file projects, a mobile-friendly editor, syntax highlighting, customizable editor settings, and integrated output.

The goal isn't to replace VS Code or Android Studio.

It's much simpler:

What if your phone could be a decent coding environment when your laptop isn't around?

I've now released RunCoder on Google Play.

🔗 RunCoder on Google Play

I'd genuinely love feedback from developers here.

What feature would make you actually want to code from your phone?

And if you've tried RunCoder, I'd especially love to hear what feels good, what feels terrible, and what I should build next.
