Hi, everyone!

Public learning isn’t just about sharing knowledge; it’s about accountability, collaboration, and growth. As software engineers, we constantly learn and solve problems. Documenting this journey not only reinforces our understanding but also helps others who might be stuck with similar issues. Blogging gives us a voice in the tech community, opens doors to connections, and builds a portfolio that speaks louder than any resume. In my case, it’s also my way of keeping myself accountable and consistent as I transition back to coding.

I'm Harshrajsinh Rajendrasinh Solanki, a former operations professional, now fully committed to becoming a software engineer. My journey began years ago with a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, and due to my interest in start-ups, I decided to pursue a P.G.D.M. in Operations and Supply Chain Management. With all my hard work and luck, I co-founded Edutech Startup LetsUpgrade Edutech Pvt. Ltd., leading me to operations and leadership roles. After a few years of managing teams, building workflows, overseeing finances and cashflows, and developing strategies, I’ve decided to return to my first love—coding. While I enjoyed the dynamic nature of operations, something inside me always missed the thrill of coding and solving technical problems.

I’m starting from scratch with Java Full-Stack Development, progressing to other tools and technologies like Kotlin, Spring, and DevOps. My goal is to combine the analytical skills I developed in operations with the technical expertise needed for modern software engineering.

What to Expect from My Blogs

Here’s what you’ll find:

Daily Updates: A quick recap of what I learned, the problems I faced, and how I solved them.

Weekly Technical Blogs: A deep dive into a concept, tool, or technology I’ve learned, aimed to help others in their coding journey.

Honest Reflections: Not everything will go perfectly, and that’s okay. I’ll share the ups and downs of this journey.

My series, Restarting My Software Engineering Journey, is not just a blog – it’s a conversation. I’d love to hear your thoughts, tips, and encouragement as I take this leap.

 Let’s Connect!

Your support means everything to me. If you find value in what I share, drop a comment, ask questions, or just send good vibes. Staying consistent is my biggest challenge, and I hope you’ll help me stay on track.

Wish me luck as I restart my journey as a software engineer. Let’s make this a success together! 🚀

Follow my Hasnode profile to get notified about every new post in this series. I’ll also be sharing updates on LinkedIn, X.com (Twitter), and Github, so feel free to connect there as well!
