Today I designed the Progress Log section of my new #100DaysofCode website!

Built it with HTML + CSS only (Haven't learned Js yet)
Faced some trouble picking colors that matched the gradient background above it
Ended up using a soft steel blue log area with gradient borders for each day card
Styled with custom fonts, shadows, and flex layout

I started building a website for my GitHub repo to showcase my progress. Today, I worked on the homepage layout. I added a responsive navbar, set up colors and fonts, and styled the header section.

I will keep updating it daily as I learn and build more.

Learned about JS conditionals—if, if else, and else blocks. I also made my prototype webpage responsive with media queries.

I decided to scrap it and start fresh with a cleaner version tomorrow.

Practiced core JavaScript string methods today:

• slice(), split(), replace(), repeat()
• toUpperCase(), padStart(), padEnd()
• Accessing characters with [] and charAt()

Coming from Python, I still wonder why we have to write .toUpperCase() instead of something simpler like .upper() 🙃

Day 36 – #100DaysOfCode

• Revisited CSS by building a navbar from scratch
• Reviewed key JavaScript string methods: .charAt(), .at(), .trim(), .length
• Installed and set up Node Version Manager (nvm)
• Progress: The Odin Project Foundations → 68%

I haven’t been able to code for the past few days due to CUET exams, now back to consistent learning!

100DaysOfCode – Day 35

Today I started learning JavaScript through The Odin Project and got my first look at how it works in the browser.

Learned how to assign variables using let, const, and var.
Used alert() and console.log() to show output in the browser.
Realized that let is the modern way to declare variables — var still works but has older behavior.
JavaScript can only store numbers precisely up to about 15–16 digits because of IEEE 754 limitations.
For bigger numbers, you need to use BigInt to avoid precision errors.

There are both variables and constants in JavaScript — it’s not like Python at all! 😅

I have not yet learned about responsiveness, so it's neither responsive.

Watched a Flexbox lecture and completed the last two Flexbox exercises from The Odin Project. I understand the concepts more clearly now, especially how to align and position elements.

Still learning Flexbox with The Odin Project and going through the layout exercises.
I’m finding some parts a bit confusing, so I’ll watch a few visual tutorials tomorrow to get more clarity.
