Hi, I'm Hasan 👋

My name is Hasan R H Abdalhadi, and I'm a Computer Science Engineering student at BITS Pilani Dubai Campus.

I've always been interested in building software that solves practical problems. One of the projects I've been developing is RAEDORA, an AI-powered project management platform.

In this article, I'd like to share what I've built, the technologies I've used, and what I've learned along the way.

Why I Started Building RAEDORA

Managing a project involves much more than creating a task list. There are team responsibilities, progress updates, reports, documents, site photos, and decisions that need to be tracked.

I wanted to bring these activities together into one organized platform instead of relying on disconnected tools.

That's where the idea for RAEDORA came from.

What RAEDORA Does

RAEDORA is designed to help teams organize their projects and manage daily operations.

Some of the features I've worked on include:

Project Management: Organizing projects, tracking progress, and managing project information.
Team Responsibilities: Assigning and managing responsibilities within each project.
Tasks and Checklists: Tracking work and keeping important activities organized.
Field Reports: Documenting project activities and reporting progress.
Site Updates and Photos: Recording updates and keeping visual documentation.
Activity History: Tracking changes and project activities.
AI-Powered Insights: Generating executive summaries, analyzing potential risks, suggesting actions, and answering project-related questions.

My goal is to make project information easier to access and understand.

Working with these technologies has helped me understand how different parts of a software platform connect, from the user interface to APIs, databases, file storage, and AI services.

Challenges and Lessons Learned

Building RAEDORA has involved more than writing code.

I've worked through challenges involving frontend and backend integration, authentication, file uploads, database changes, and AI provider integration.

One important lesson I've learned is that a feature isn't really complete just because the code works. It also needs to be understandable, reliable, and practical for the people using it.

I've also learned how valuable it is to build incrementally, test integrations, and improve the user experience as the project grows.

What's Next?

RAEDORA is still evolving.

I'm continuing to improve the platform, refine existing features, and explore ways to make project management more efficient.

I'm especially interested in how AI can help teams understand project information and make better decisions without adding unnecessary complexity.
