      <description>&lt;p&gt;I have been coding since BASIC on my Commodore 64 in the 80s. More practically, I started with Visual FoxPro and Visual Basic in the early 90s, and eventually continued to JavaScript since a few months after its inception in 1995. I've learned other languages since then (C/C++, Java, PHP, dabbled in others) but I have been primarily using JavaScript for 20+ years.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I live in San Jose, and work for Yummly in Redwood City.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My main non-programming passion is music engineering and production. I've produced trance since the late 90s and mixed/mastered many other genres since 2000 or so. I love everything about music from both artistic and technical perspectives.&lt;/p&gt;
