      <description>&lt;p&gt;I built JobTrail to solve my own problem of losing track of applications across different portals. It automatically detects when you apply for a job on LinkedIn, Indeed, or Naukri and logs it into a kanban dashboard.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A few technical details:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It is 100% local and privacy-first. There are zero external network requests, zero telemetry, and no accounts required. All data is strictly stored on your device in chrome.storage.local.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The architecture is purely client-side utilizing Manifest V3.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It is completely based on vanilla HTML, CSS, and JS. I chose to avoid external frameworks entirely to keep it lightweight. &lt;/p&gt;
