Building an app for LunarPHP – eCommerce

I was exploring modern eCommerce solutions like Medusa for Typescript, Saleor for Python/Django and Lunar for Laravel; while most of them have a robust ecosystem - Admin/Headless eCommerce, REST/GraphQL API, plugins and front-end framework. Almost all of them do not have a standard mobile app.

This weekend, I thought about how AI Coding tools like Cursor can help bridge that gap. A simple idea was to bridge the model (as in MVC ) across the eCommerce solution and the Mobile App.
I took Lunar, asked Cursor to migrate the models from Lunar to a Flutter App, for type safety and data parity across the back-end and the mobile app. In a few prompts, I was able to build a complete mobile app in flutter that consumed the GraphQL endpoints.

The website is Friendly Diamonds , it exposes it's API at https://friendlydiamonds.com/api/us/config/shop/lister-cards (common for a headless ecommerce / cms apps to expose its API for the frontend). The Laravel app reads this, in a paginated manner and imports the products, categories and images, writes it own GraphQL endpoints and the flutter app implements it.

Complete sourcecode at https://github.com/imzeeshan/commercify

Comments welcome..
