Haz que MacOS funcione más como Windows 10

Intro

Este post esta orientado para usuarios nuevos de MacOs, quienes vienen de usar windows 10 o distros de Linux.
Tal vez has trabajando con windows 10 o linux y por alguna razón terminaste trabajando en MacOS, bueno pues esa es mi historia.
Antes de comenzar, tengo usando MacOS, antes ya sabia las cosas básicas como las de que para copiar debes usar la tecla comando + C, pero tengo mas de medio año usando MacOS monterrey y he notado que faltan muchas funciones básicas, afortunadamente he encontrado varias apps que solucionan esto, veamos.

Alt + TAB

La función que falta: Usar Comando + TAB funciona horrible y solo trabaja con las apps abiertas, no las ventanas, por suerte tenemos Alt + TAB un programa que emula el mismo funcionamiento que tienes en windows 10 usando la tecla Opción (Alt) + TAB y funciona genial.

funciones Cool :

Puedes saltar de ventanas (no la apps) en diferentes escritorios virtuales
Puedes tener multiples ventanas en multiples pantallas y saltar a ellas.
Puedes agregar personalización a la apariencia y los atajos.

No gastes dinero en Witch, créeme no lo vale.

Rectangle

La función que falta: MacOS no tiene una manera genial de dividir la pantalla con una o más apps y no puedes mover esas ventanas con las flechas del teclado, rectangle soluciona eso.

funciones Cool :

Puedes mover una ventada de una pantalla a otra con la tecla de comando y las flechas
Puedes maximizar una ventana completa usando comando + flecha de arriba.
Puedes minimizar una ventana al dock usando comando + flecha de abajo
Puedes agregar mucha personalización para dividir la pantalla.

Nota: Tiene una versión pro, pero la versión gratis funciona genial.

La función que falta: MacOS no tiene un manejador de porta papeles como la función windows + V que fue introducida en windows 10 y desde antiguo en las distros de linux.

Funciones Cool:

Puedes tener configurar un atajo de teclado para mostrar el historial del porta papeles.
Guarda el historial aun si apagas tu macbook.

Desventajas:

La version gratis no se siente que cumpla con el mismo sentimiento que la versión de windows 10.
No guarda images del porta papeles.

Tecla Comando (Windows)+ S para guardar una captura de pantalla al portapapeles.

Esta no es una función que falte, pero puedes cambiar el extraño atajo a uno mas cómodo como en windows.

Para ello debes ir a Preferencias del sistema -> teclado -> capturas de pantalla y cambiar la opción de que dice en la imagen Copy Picture to selected area to the clipboard (Copiar la imagen del área seleccionada al porta papeles) una disculpa tengo configurado en inglés el sistema.

Concluciones y pensamientos finales.

Estas son las apps que me ayudaron a no romper mi flujo de trabajo el cual tenia trabajando con Fedora, mangaro usando el escritorio de Cinnamon o Windows 10.

Sigo buscando una app que cambie las combinaciones de Comando + C, +v, +z, +x de manera global a las combinaciones clásicas, He probado karabiner, pero no es lo que estoy buscando.

También estoy buscando otro explorador de archivos pues Finder apesta, pero siento que eso sera mas difícil, Suerte!

This post is focused on new users on MacOS that come from windows 10 or linux distros.
You have been working on windows or linux distros and for some reason now you are working on MacOS, that is my story.
Before I started to use MacOS, I already know the basics like the command + c for copy, but now I have more than a half year working on MacOS Monterrey I have noticed that a lot of basic functions are missing fortunately I found a couple of apps that fix them so let's start.

Alt + TAB

The Missing function: Command + TAB works horribly and only shows the opened apps, not the windows, lucky for us there is Alt + TAB a simple software to emulate the same function on windows 10 using Option (Alt) + TAB and works great.

Cool functions:

You can jump from windows (not the app) on different virtual desktops.
You can have multiple windows on multiple displays and jump on it.
You can close windows and the app with a shortcut and not from the dock.
You can add customization to the look and feel.

Do not spend money on Witch or other apps, trust me they work awful.

The Missing function: MacOS does not have a cool way to split a screen with two or more apps and you can't move the windows with the keyboard arrows, rectangle fix that.

Cool functions:

You can move a single-window from a display to another display using command + arrows
You can maximize the entire window to fit on display using the command + up arrow.
You can minimize the window to hide it on the docker using the command + down arrow.
You can add a lot of customization to split windows.

Note: It has a pro version, but the free version works prefectly

Do not spend money on Magnet.

The Missing function: MacOS does not have a clipboard manager like the Windows + V function introduced on Windows 10 and Linux distros.

Cool functions:

You have the clipboard history adding a custom shortcut.
It saves the clipboard history even if you power off the MacBook.

Disadvantages:

The free version is not enough to accomplish the same feel like Windows 10 function.
Does not save the images on the clipboard.

Command (windows) + S to save a screenshot to the clipboard.

This is not a missing function, but you can change the shortcut that makes that function as on windows.

You need to go System Preferences -> Keyboard -> shortcuts -> screenshots -> and change it like the down image.

Conclusion and final thinking.

That are the apps that helped me to not break my workflow that I had using Fedora, mangaro with Cinnamon desktop or Windows 10.

But I still looking for an app that changes the command + c, +v, +z, +x globally to the classic control combinations. I had tried karabiner but that is not what I'm looking for.

And I think finder sucks I also looking for adding a new file explorer, but maybe this is the hardest one, so happy hacking.
