Hello dev.to, I’m Learning in Public

Hey everyone,

I’m Tulsi, a Computer Science student who is currently learning by building projects, breaking things, fixing them, and slowly understanding how real software is made.

I’m interested in backend engineering, AI/ML, open source, clean project structure, and building projects that are more than just “it works on my laptop.”

Right now, I’m trying to improve my skills in:

Python and backend development

APIs and databases

testing and CI/CD

frontend visualization

AI/ML and GenAI

GitHub and open-source workflows

I want to use dev.to as a place to document what I’m learning, the mistakes I make, the projects I build, and the process of becoming a better developer.

I’m not here as an expert.

I’m here to learn in public, stay consistent, and connect with other developers who are also building, experimenting, and improving step by step.

This is my first post, and hopefully the start of many more.

Thanks for reading :)
