When 2080 is undervolted+underclocked to in shape 1650-s performance?

GPU-s mentioned are just an illustration but can be anything as long as one has more cores of anykind/ higher memory bandwith that can be capped.

I have been wondering about heat output of mobile GPU-s. Most laptops seem to be performance limited by cooling. So today I found myself wondering how to get the most performance out of such a system. And if you constantly run the thing at 80-90 degrees gaming that cant be too good if u want to keep the thing for a while.

So I have been thinking of getting a new laptop and I started to wonder if I should get one that has top of the line GPU in it even if the laptop cant run it at 100%.

Given 2 identical laptops. One has lets say 1650 in it and the other has 2080.

Shader Processing Units= 896 vs 2944

Texture Mapping Units= 56 vs 184

Render Output Units= 32 vs 64

So for the same performance you can undervolt+underclock the GPU a lot more and in total should generate much less heat.

Now what I have been trying to figure out if that is even true and if it is then how much is the differnace.

Box shadow leaving strip at bottom of image?

Hey all, very new to really messing with CSS and I can't seem to figure out what's going on here. On the site I'm working on there are several flags lined up like the ones in the image, and I've added a hover effect on mouse over with a little box shadow. However, anytime the hover effect is applied to the flag image, there's that little strip of white added to the bottom of the image and I can't seem to figure out what's causing it, although I know it has something to do with the box shadow.

For the box shadow I have:

box-shadow: 0 20px 20px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.23);

Would really appreciate any help!
